I've never used Mod Podge before, and it works so wonderfully well. I used it to adhere fabric to a quilt shelf, to match a curtain I was using nearby. The fumes are not much worse than white glue, and it dried with no lumps, wrinkles or blemished areas. I got just what I wanted out of it.

I've used Mod Podge for years now, but I just started to use it as a sealant. This stuff is a JOKE as far as a sealant. I've used it on 3 projects, and for the two I still have (the 3rd was a gift), it ruined the projects long after it was dry. Both issues were when it was used over paper, which is purports to be ideal for. The first was when it got wet, months after it was finished, and the Mod Podge became sticky, causing some nearby paper to stick to it and imbed in the surface. While I was able to get the paper off, the permanent ink has never come off. Giving it a second, and last, chance, I used it again on paper, and, several days after the last coat had dried, it developed large bubbles that were opaque in one area, and again became destructively sticky after getting very slightly damp in another area. I will never use Mod Podge for sealing my projects again. As a glue, it's a great help, but keep it UNDER your projects, not on top.

This coats without discoloring or soaking. I used this on newspaper and was afraid that the paper would get soaked and become see-through or bunched up. I applied a few coats with a foam roller and got an excellent matte finish without any ruining the paper. Definitely recommended.

I had a blast decoupaging every light switch in the house with pictures of abstract art! The Mod Podge doesn't have a bad odor and it goes a long way. After putting 3 coats on 21 switch plates, I only used about 1/4 of the jar. It's really great stuff!

Love mod podge is a great product for all different ideas and crafts. My son has recently used mod podge to redo goose decoys that are over twenty to thirty years old. He reprinted them and used this over top of it to help protect the paint when they are sat in the field or even the water while hunting. It worked prefect and he did a amazing job in doing it. He is teen and for the job he did I couldn't have done better. I was very impressed with it. Will try to see if I can post pictures of it once all are done and dried. I will be a mod podge buyer for life that's for sure. Have never come across a product they make that doesn't preform to exactly what I had hoped for. Usually it's over what I had hoped for. As a artist and crafter I can not complain about a single thing about this company or products. Also I will be back to buy more we use them in all different art projects we do. I owe quite a few of different ones and still have a few others I want also. Highly recommend these products.

It's mod podge, it's okay. But they do have a 16oz bottle at walmart for less than $8.00

It's twice as much as this bottle.. seems like a rip off

I used this to apply glitter to some flats and from this experience, all I can say is to not layer the mod podge on too thick or it will leave a white spot and take much longer to dry. I suggest whatever you're doing, layer it on thinly and add more layers after the previous one dries. Other than that it worked beautifully.

The first time I used Mod Podge was about ten years ago. I actually originally bought my first set back in 2002 after seeing a demo on QVC. I had got this whole neat little set and instantly fell in love. I always try and keep a jar/container in the house because with the kids in school, they constantly have projects coming up. It's a great replacement if you lose a glue stick and have to put some stuff together for a project. Another use that I'm not sure is listed is a seal on clay projects. After baking them in the oven, we use the mod podge as nice glaze. There really is endless things this can be used for.
