5M SMD 5050 Waterproof 300LEDs RGBW LED Strip Light
RGB + W strips are an evolution of the RGB stripes. In this new model, an RGB LED and a white LED is fitted alternately, it combines the best of both worlds, the variety of colors of RGB LEDs with the purity of the monochromatic LEDs. This allows you, by mixing those colors to create pastel shades, this expands the color selection enormously.
The various LED chips can be controlled separately for white light or different colors to illuminate the chosen installation location always perfect and according to the situation.
The color white, can be generated by the RGB LEDs inadequate. For this reason, RGB + W strips were designed.

Product works well, however I (as did many others) had a problem with the adhesive too. Any temperature or humidity change and the lights were falling off of the latex painted wall.
BUT, I have a solution that worked very well and was not too costly.
I searched many options and finally decided to try using JVCC DC-WGT-01 Double Coated Window Glazing Tape.
I applied this tape using a hairdryer just to make sure that the adhesive was soft and pliable when applying it.
These lights have been on for several months now, in all temperatures and humidity changes and are contoured around inner and outer curves of 90 degree bends.
We love them and they do look great onstage for only being 12v. You should get an adequate supply (also on here 30a 12v for $17)
If you only buy one strip, you might get away with it, but when you have two strips next to each other, the color mismatch is glaringly obvious on the white channel. I can actually get a somewhat neutral whiteish color if I mix in lime green with the RGBs when the white ones are on to counteract their purple hue.
The adhesive on the back is such a joke, and I'd actually prefer if they hadn't put anything there. I used Scotch (3M) 10 pound extreme double sided adhesive every two feet or so to keep them up, yet shockingly, the strips still manage to come down! You'd probably be better just leaving the paper on the back and using the tape on that, rather than trying to stick it to this apparently anti-adhesive material.
But for the price, I'm satisfied. This product isn't remotely professional, but it is a great novelty and provides some fun lighting effects. If you want to get decent strips, you'd probably have to buy multiple at a time, test them and match the closest ones and return the rest. It's a shame that there's such poor quality control.
Pros: Cheap, it works, it is water resistant.
Cons: Light output sucks. On 16ft, LEDs by power source will be bright, LEDs on the other end will be dimm. Cable colors are mixed up (I didn't care).
If you need some simple color effects, it is fine, if you need to lit something up (aquarium?), it is sub par. You will have to cut it on smaller pieces and hook them up in parallel to squeeze the most of these LEDs defeating the whole simplicity of the strip. But for the price, do not expect miracles.
