I've tried all types of peppers. Usually not pre-ground. I saw the great reviews of this while looking for some more pepper, and decided I'd give it a try. It is good pepper, no doubt. But, I was expecting some flavor explosion. I guess I let the reviews get to my head. I'd say this is better than most, maybe even all other, pre-ground pepper I've had. It is a good pepper and a good buy for sure. It won't beat home ground pepper though. Kind of like no ground coffee will beat whole bean / home ground.
