Welfare has enslaved the Black Family as no one in the 1800's could have ever done. History books tell you the civil war was fought to free the slaves. the TRUTH is the South poured 80% of the money the U.S. treasury had. So when the South seceded, they invaded the South to get their 'CASH COW' back, The north did not care about the Slaves at all. It was the MONEY !! Jesse Jackson is a millionaire, he got his money by stirring the Hate Pot & delivering Black votes to the Democrats. We are all AMERICANS, Black & White, We all bleed Red Blood. Hands down one of the best reads ever. I am not a huge reader, I usually slowly progress my way through books, but I read this in its entirety in 2 days, and that's with going back and reading sections over again. The book isn't long, the chapters are short and to the point, and while written very well, it is frank and simple; an easy digest.

If anyone has ever wondered why the south is considered to be so "angry" or backwards in our thinking, then you need to read this because Mr. Hervey has his reasoning down to point. Regardless of what the uninformed may think, his views are shared by the majority of Southerners both black and white. I used to struggle with my Southern heritage, I was ashamed of it. I have grown up since that time and this book inspired a fire in me to never EVER be ashamed again.

Mr. Hervey has honest views and he is relentless in the blame he lays to the media, government, and ruling liberal white/black upper class. Only someone with a closed mind will read this and not see that Hervey is making a desperate plea to elevate humanity (black, white, yellow, blue, all of us). There are a couple of extreme views expressed which I do not agree with, but I do see his reasoning for his suggestions. But guess what?! That's the beauty of it! This book encourages me to think for myself and form my own opinions! Quite the opposite of books that have their own agenda.

I wish I had this book in high school, I think there is such a lesson to be taken from Hervey's writings. If nothing else this is a refreshment on humanity, a wake up call on self-improvement. If it wouldn't endanger my family I would demand that this book be placed on school reading lists. It is simply that important. I will be buying these for family and friends.Read more ›

Mr. Hervey was killed last night after speaking at a Flag Rally in Alabama. He was silenced because of his beliefs. This is an important book, even more so now because he's become a martyr. RIP

Very simply written. Easy to understand. He tried very hard to get his message out even though his own people won't listen. Someone from Amazon should read this book and you may see how stupid you are for banning most things Confederate from your site. This is more than likelymy last Amazon purchase.
