Love this clever, classic book and highly recommend it as a quick read, which is why I bought it as a Christmas gift!But unfortunately it was placed in a box with other items with nothing to secure them, resulting in damage. That or it was damaged prior to shipping.Now I'm horrifyingly short on gifts at the last minute. Fail.

Only a few pages long and written merely as a preface to an almanack, The Way To Wealth is the oldest book on finance written in America and is still one of the best.

This edition (Applewood books) is a finely made pocket-sized hardcover edition of the text, as it deserves to be bound in.

Pick it up, along with Applewood Books other little books of American Wisdom, they're all worth the $9.95 a piece!

This book made me hope it would be good because it was a good idea to take the wisdom of Benjamin Franklin and apply it to business today and seeking to gain wealth. I found myself skipping past the in-between content to find more of what Ben Franklin had to say. It is hard to put today's writing alongside the brilliance of Franklin's so I give the author kudos for courage, but it didn't quite hit the spot for me. By the way, Franklin's Autobiography which contains his list of virtues is one of my favorites. It was part of the inspiration for my book series mentioned hereafter.
