Not the Wayne pump your father used, and that is bad news
Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2017
The first one failed 2 days after I installed it. Then I waited for the replacement (remember this is a sewage pump, so no water use while waiting). The second pump failed 7 days after I installed it. I went up to local big box store, bought a cheap one to "get-by" until I decided what to do with the Wayne pump (replace again or ask for money back). Well the cheap pump is still going, 8 months later. I got my money back and purchased another cheap one to keep in the shop as back up. Still, two cheap pumps cost less and work better than the Wayne Pump. The seals they use are not good. The oil leaks out and the sewage leaks into the motor, then smoke on the water. I am told by my father that Wayne used to make good pumps, but that time is past.
