2013 album from the Brooklyn duo, which follows a pair of successful EPs. Thomas Mullarney and Jacob Gossett, AKA Beacon, introduced themselves to the world with the No Body and for Now EPs, both released on Ghostly International. The EPs were united by minimalist, R&B-influenced instrumentation, and also by a lyrical theme, with both serving as meditations on the darkness that underpins the most intense of human emotions: love.

It's a nice, slow, soothing, and a dreamer of an album.
A few album highlights include:
"Bring You back"
A delicate arpeggiated masterpiece with Haunting vocals. This one gives me moments of clarity and those good types of chills. If you like Charlie May or Sasha's downtempo masterpieces such as "Baja" or "Mr Tiddles", you'll love this one.
This track has classic all over it. Remember Orbital's Halcyon? Brings back some great memories with a modern twist. I'd love to hear a Tom Middleton remix of this one - but it's already fantastic!
Feels like a polished and more mature version of The XX meets the Pet Shop Boys (from their Actually album). Fantastic!
Exceptional! Pop this album on relax and let your mind float downstream.

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this album. Every single track is fantastic, with a few standing out to me above the rest, ("Drive", "Feeling's Gone", and "Bring You Back" in particular). The stunning mix of soft yet powerful vocals, and deep, haunting, (sometimes almost ethereal) electronic instrumentals is absolutely perfect.
The vinyl pressing itself is fantastic quality and the sleeve/cover artwork is beautifully done. The record was tough getting out of the sleeve the first few times, (extremely tight fit) but I feel like it has loosened up a bit after a few unsleevings. It also comes with a digital download code for the album, (redeemable 5 times) so you can keep an mp3 version on your phone/computer.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase - 5 stars!
