Being a father and living the life of an over weight child, teen and man. I felt it was my duty to get my weight under control and to help my child live a healthier and happier lifestyle then I had through most of my life. I had attempted many diets through my life, none had ever given me the long term results I had wanted. So going into this project I decided to forget everything I thought I knew about weight gain and loss and start from the beginning! I spent months reading and researching health, diet, weight ... Before I began putting what I was learning into action. After about three months of following the guild lines and tips I have outlined in my book my wife started to realize how successful and easy this process was. At the time she was a little more than six months pregnant when she began living a healthier life style with me. By the time our child was born my wife had become much more healthy and active then she was even before the pregnancy. This was one of the main reasons I decided to write this book, but what pushed me over the edge into action was seeing how quickly she lost all of her baby weight and how active she was just months after the pregnancy. With my wife on board the healthy train, we worked together to pass these methods on to our child who at this time had grown to be a bit over weight for her age and height. It was a slow going process, but by the time our child turned two years old she was well on the way to a healthy weight! Now our child maintains a very healthy weight, I do not mean she is supper skinny, but she is pretty active and is a proper weight for age and height. Also our child is building proper eating habits that she will carry with her for the rest of her life!

i was a little uncomfortable giving the book to her thinking she may be upset with me, but after just a couple of weeks i recived a call from her thinking me. she said her step-daughter is loving making the recipes in this book and she is not having any problem following the simple guildlines. she has lost 3 to 4 pounds in 3 to 4 weeks, but loosing a pound a week is a huge difference from gaining one. also my sister said the whole family is following the guildlines and it is not only helping them be more active and healthy, but it is bringing them closer together.
