Wayward Moon: Dark Fae Hollow Six is the standalone story that takes place in Venice, Italy in Ashia’s Hollow. There is a prophecy about a human who is born into a Fae’s body and a Fae who is born into a human’s body. They will be the ones who are the catalyst to a dynamic change that will destroy the hollow. Lunaria read about it in a Fae book that she found during one of her scavenger hunts. She’s had a hard struggle throughout her life. All she’s known is struggle and always being on the edge of danger. When the human council declares that her life is forfeit and that she is to be found to be executed her world is turned upside down. She immediately goes on the run but she’s not alone. One night she meets the Fae who has been following her. But what is it that he wants?
I have read several of the other Dark Fae Hollow stories and I have to say that I enjoyed this one the most. I like how the author takes Lunaria from being barely getting by to just rock bottom. I really get to see the grit and strength of her. Not everyone can stand up to having everything stripped from them simply for existing and that is exactly what happens to her. Piece by piece everything is taken away. There is such intense drama in this story but there is also an air of mystery, tension and danger. There is some romance as well but it doesn’t crop up immediately. When the romance does begin to blossom it does exactly that, it blossoms. Other stories have had the romance immediately spark and flare to life, but that’s not the case with this one.
This book is written from the first person perspective of Lunaria. She’s a dynamic and engaging character. She’s strong, independent and well created as a character. This book was very hard for me to put down. I like a book that keeps me wanting to know what happens next and this book definitely does exactly that. I absolutely love how the author writes this book. In a perfect world the heroine would find a way to get out of a bad situation or being rescued when the situation is too dire. While that does happen in certain situations in others it does not and for me it makes the story more enjoyable.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I have to say that this author has just gained a new reader as this is the first book by her that I have read. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future. If you have been reading the Dark Fae Hollow series then this is a book that I highly recommend you pick up. If you are looking for a new read, by a new author and are a fan of fantasy then this is a book to check out.
Unrecognized by Lunari, she has a Fae talent prophesied to bring disaster to the Ashia Hollow. A dark Fae stranger pursues her. Will she be able to escape? Will she ever learn the secret of why she is under a death sentence?
This book was well written and kept my attention throughout. I loved the twists and turns, wondering how this brave young woman, Lunari, can endure all that she has. The author does a great job of creating a world that is frighteningly realistic and adds to the suspense. I definitely recommend this one.
This book takes place in a future time where the Fae world and human world have combined. Since the worlds have combined it has been all about survival, most dogs and cats are extinct except for a few fae cats here and there which most people including some fae fear.
Lunari, half fae half human runs into a bit of a pickle and is wanted by the human council for some odd reason. Although Lunari has no idea what she has done wrong this means she has to be on the run. She fights back when her cat ends up being in jeopardy which seems to only make her situation worse. She runs with what little she has left. In the process of being on the run she meets a dark fae that she seems to have a connection with while also discovering that her eyes have taken a change in color since fighting back. In the process of finding all this out she also finds out that she is worth more than what she ever knew possible; it seems Lunaris' powers might be able to alter the world as she knows it and not in a good way if the people that want her are able to find her.
In this action packed race against time I got to know Lunari on a deep level and grew to love her character. This book shows just how good hearted someone can be and what you can get in return for having such a good heart. It shows that everyone makes mistakes, but that it doesn't have to mean that you are a horrible person because of it. This book shows just how important life is even when you get into a pickle. This book shows that never giving up has benefits and that life has more to offer than anyone ever thought possible. This book shows just how strong and caring people can be even in the darkest of times and that the apocalypse hasn't ruined everyone just yet even if they are dark fae.
I voluntarily reviewed and advanced readers copy of this book.

This is an intense series that you honestly need (in my opinion) to read from book one
