This book was mentioned by Ingo Swann as worth looking at in connection with his remote viewing work on the Moon. Since I was impressed with his results I thought this might be the book to go further with. Instead I discovered that the main character in this book by Fred Steckling was the author's friend and mentor, George Adamski, who I had heard of vaguely years ago, but who I had no idea was the basis for this work and its recounting in this book.
I looked up Adamski on-line and quickly found an abundance of info on him, all of it painting him as a crank, who was either self-deluded or a charlatan. Now I am willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. I try to keep an open mind. But the basic info on Adamski was just too strong. It seems to me that he was in fact creating and/or fabricating UFO images he claimed were genuine. In a way it was a sad story.
The author Fred Steckling was a member of a coterie of followers of Adamski.
This purchase was a waste of money and time. There may be bases on the Moon. Swann certainly saw them thru psychic work. But George Adamski did not see anything and his numerous photos of these "bases" in the book are ridiculous - you can't see anything.
