These characters are so interesting. I felt like I had been a part of this book. I love that Aiden has a major disability because you don't often see that in books. The plot was fun, entertaining and well formed. The flow and pace were spot on. I also enjoyed the authors writing style.
I can't wait to read more of this series. While this book was amazing and entertaining left me asking 'WTF just happened'. It was definitely a cliffhanger and not a happily ever after at all. This was a new author for me and I can't wait to enjoy more books by her. Great book! Great author! The rating I give this book is due to the cliffhanger ending.
But I could not but the book down! Ugh!
Warning: Major cliffhanger! (sucks teeth)
Ok, if you aren't comfortable with the "F Bomb" then this probably won't be the book for you. It's tossed out a lot.
Emma packs up and takes a bus to start her life over in Astoria, because that's where Goonies was shot. I guess that's as good a reason to pick a place as any, right? Aiden sees her gets off the bus and is instantly attracted, but it seems that he's sworn off getting to know people, so he just watches her. She sees him, but she's there to start over and isn't interested in a relationship either. So there ya go!
The book moves fast, like Emma and Aiden meet, he offers her a place to stay the night, they fight and BAM, next day they are in love. Ok, so life doesn't work that way most of the time, but honestly if books took as long to develop relationships as real life, we'd be reading the same book for years! It's a book, a work of fiction... if instant love makes you shake your head and say "Life doesn't work that way", then you probably shouldn't read this one. Just sayin.
Emma gets a job at a local bar, she hits it off with the employees (all except one, but that turns out to be more of a jealousy issue than anything) and loves her job. Aiden asks her to move in permanently. But they both have secrets. Aiden won't let Emma see him naked, Emma thinks it must be some sort of weird fetish so she just rolls with it. Lucas (who is the bar owner's son and is also attracted to Emma) takes it upon himself to tell Emma who Aiden really is.Read more ›

While the characters seem rather immature at times, I still love them in the story. I was so into this book when a bombshell was dropped and the next thing I knew, it ended. WTF! Read morePublished on September 24, 2013 by kfoste30

This is a fun read. This genre of romance novels is really expanding, and I fully expect that Callesto will really do well with the Fight and Fall series. Read morePublished on September 10, 2013 by Greg Strandberg
