I have recently become a HUGE fan of Alfonzo Rachel. Like him, after years of being a "Democrat by default," I started reading and listening to what liberalism was all about and realized I was just being used as a victim. Evil preys on the naive malcontents with the "nobody understands your pain like we do" vibe.
After listening to Alfonso Rachel, I finally accepted that I can't be a Conservative without following God's law. It's that simple. Conservatives want to CONSERVE the Constitution, and Liberals want the "living and breathing" Constitution so they can change it at will to suit their agenda. Do the Ten Commandments "live and breathe?" No. These laws are eternal. Does my mortgage "live and breathe? Certainly not. It's the same with the Constitution.
This is the first civilization to put limits on the GOVERNMENT, and those politicians need us to be just dumb enough to fall for their schemes. Pretty sneaky, eh?

I'm very impressed with Rachel's ability to address the truth about the political parties and their voting history. He gives very clear arguments for every major political topic and their relation to the Christian belief system. The book is heavily biased toward conservatism and strongly rebukes liberal thinking in an attempt to right the racist thinking pervasive in America. What's great about it is that you're left to seriously challenge your way of thinking whether you ultimately agree with him on every point or not. The book illuminates as well as gives useful solutions to many of our country's major problems today. All this, coming from a black musician, raised by a single mother in liberal California. It doesn't get any more counter culture than this, which begs the question, "how in the world did he become a conservative?" Well, he has definitely swayed my (female minority) vote from liberal to conservative!

A must read (or listen if you are into the audio book) for those who want to more fully understand what being a conservative is REALLY about.

This young mans explanation for his Christian conservative beliefs ring true with any Christian conservative. He has a down to earth, insightful and very entertaining way of presenting these views. He does not candy coat the issues or share with these views apologetically. He is clear and direct. He gives good instruction that helps a Christian conservative know how to better explain their views and how to confront the liberal attack. And maybe in the event that the liberal minded person would listen, these arguments would actually in lighten their lack of understanding and maybe give that person a grater understand and love for God and country.

This should be mandatory reading material. In fact, this audiobook should be played over the PA system in grocery stores, Walmart, restaurants, drug stores, and everywhere else you can get people to hear it. I don't know how Alfonse got to be so knowledgeable, but he truly has given us a weapon of A.S.S. Destruction. Plus, he is hilarious. If you are considering purchasing "Weapon of A.S.S. My favorite aspect of this book is the consistent reliance upon the actual documents of America's foundation, the writings of the founding fathers themselves, and the unabashed declaration of Jesus and his authority.
