Black coating wears off

I've had the band for less than two months and the shiny black coating is wearing off in several places. The tool is flimsy and broke when I was removing the last link, I had to use a nail to put the band back together, I’m fortunate that I removed the right amount of links before it broke. I love the way it looks and feels, sad it’s staring to look like its old and worn.

** Update ** The vendor sent me a new band. So far in the first two months, there is no wear visible anywhere. I'll wait another two months before updating again.

**Update ** So far 6 months and the new band is still in great shape. I still get compliments on it!

A month ago, I bought the For Apple Watch Band 42mm, Wearlizer Resin Wristbands Replacement iWatch Stainless Steel Strap for Apple Watch Series 3, Series 2, Series 1, Sport, Edition (Black + Dark Blue, 42 mm) . It has a great look and a quality feel. The color matches well with the space gray model. The band is easily adjustable using the included pin remover tool. After a month of daily use, there are no signs of wear on the finish. This is a great alternative if you're not a fan of the Sport Band. I plan on purchasing additional bands from Wearlizer.

Really liked the look of this band on the watch. The fit was excellent, for me, I did not have to remove any segments. I liked the clasp and the color seemed to go well with the Space Grey Apple watch.

As for the Senyoo Customer service, I had an issue, and they went above and beyond to make this right. I will use this seller again, when I need a new band or any other products they offer. I cannot say enough about there CS, awesome!! This alone pushed the review to a 5 star.

I bought this one because something I had purchased from Best Buy the clasp wouldn't stay closed. Highly recommend this company and their bands and they come in a nice case instead of cheap box.

The watchband came well packaged, with foam and a thick plastic wrap around the band. This served to make sure it arrived free of damage and scratches. Great. As you can see in the photo, it also came with a tool and a couple replacement pins. Also great! Adjustment of the band was a snap. I removed one link and it only took a couple of minutes. Overall the band appears to be pretty decent quality, though far below what you'd get if you bought a similar watchband of Seiko quality or above. Quality of construction is what you'd expect of a decent Chinese watch's band. The only part that worries me is locking mechanism on the watch band is a little more squared off on the edges than I'd like. It also feels very "lightweight". By that I mean that I worry the watchband may release unintentionally. I'll have to wear it a while to see if my fears are well founded. Other than that, I have no complaints.

**Update:** The seller contacted me and asked for details. We exchanged a few emails and the seller promptly sent a replacement of my choice!! Love customer service when it goes beyond expectations! Bumping up my review for the outstanding service.

I ordered the dark gray+blue band and like a reviewer mentioned - the blue does sparkle on the gray.

However, it falls short right there. The material looks flimsy and doesn't give you a premium feel. Feels more like plastic than steel.

The included tool is a bonus! Its going to take a little patience to work out the links but unless you've done link removals before, you'll feel the same even with a pro grade tool.

There is some sort of plastic protector although the package doesn't mention anything. It clearly is not big enough for a 42mm watch face or 38mm watch face. The user manual says this is a band for fitbit so maybe this protector will fit a fitbit?

Overall, not too happy with the purchase. You purchase bands for adding to the value (over the standard rubber crappy band that Apple forces down your throat), not to take value away from it.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend as the black/blue resembles the thin blue line for support of law enforcement. It was kind of annoying removing the links, and the directions are not written well. Boyfriend loves it, and I think it looks great on.

Customer service on the other hand, not so great. In the package I received an “amazon gift card” that was only given to “so many special customers”. The gift card says it’s valued at $10-20, scratch it off to reveal your winning amount, and the customer service will give you a code for that value to add to your amazon account. Contacted customer service with my amount to which they replied I had to review the product, and depending how good my review was, would decipher how much of an amazon gift card I would get. One of the rules to get the gift card was also not to mention the emails in order to get the gift card. The card in the mail mentions nothing about the review requirement in order to get your gift card (which mine said I would get $20). Seems like could be false advertising for a lot of these positive reviews, and the company seems shady.

Back to the watch band though, still brand new, and looks good for now, so I will update how it handles with wear!

This comes in a nice little box and includes a (rather fiddly and not so helpful) tool to remove the links. It feels very cheap, not at all what I was expecting from the description, however, it looks quite nice on. My biggest complaint is that the strap isn’t as wide as the fittings so the watch slides about slightly and it doesn’t have the lovely flush look that most other straps have. On the whole, it’s ok but I would have only paid £10 for it had I seen it before hand!

Nice looking strap however it came with the adapter that makes it fit the Apple Watch upside down. It was easy enough to swap around but I did so and tested that it was on correctly. After about 3 days the watch fell off.. onto carpet thankfully. I assumed it was due to my fixing efforts so I fixed it again. Very thorough testing this time so I am certain it was connected properly. 1 week later it fell off again. Luckily I caught it in my sleeve but could have done some serious damage. I can’t trust the strap now so will not use it. Shame as it was nice.
**EDIT** Seller sent me a new strap and the quality seems good so far - revising to 4 stars**

Very impressed and a bargain for the quality of the product and you get the free strap removal tool which is excellent as I had to remove just 1 section and normally I have to use a spectacle screwdriver and small hammer to do this but the removal tool is so so easy to use and did the job in 3mins 👍👍 will deffo be buying more straps from this seller to have different choices for different suits and casual wear. Very very pleased.
