I needed a product to seal the gaps in my door of my heated work shed. Since the shed is of an odd makeshift construction, the normal weather stripping for factory made doors was not suitable. This worked superbly.
But, WATCH OUT! The glue strips that come with the product are an absolute joke. Don't waste your time even thinking that they will work. They are junk. Forget it, unless you want to drive yourself nuts.
SOLUTION: This worked great for me: Peel the backing off their stupid glue strip; spray on Gorilla Glue spray adhesive and also spray the adhesive onto the substrate wood frame (tape off to avoid the over spray). Wait a minute, then stick the two pieces together. The wall will fall down before you could ever peel their product off.
Nobody seems to be able to make good products that actually perform as they advertise. This is just another one of them that could have been the best of the best. It is a sad statement of our times.
