Mounted it on an AR15 and it holds zero very well. The eye relief is a little tricky in that it is exact and not too easy to get the sight picture quickly . Good field of view at all magnification. Sight radicle is excellent and allows for distance adjustment without zero at ranges past 100 yards. I also liked the pull out windage and elevation adjustment to zero without having to remove caps on on the scope, you just pull out, adjust, then push in to lock.

I purchased this little scope on Amazon after seeing it at a trade show. I was impressed with it initially and now after using it, I am very impressed! It is packed with features for a not-so-expensive scope. The Ballistic X with variable intensity lighted reticle is as good as some scopes costing 5 times more. I initially was concerned that the crosshairs being so fine would be difficult to see, but that is what the lighted reticle is for. I zeroed @ 100 yards on my evil assault weapon before dark and then shot until after dark as the lighted crosshairs made targeting easy in very, very low levels of light. In fact, my AR10 has a Nikon with a 50mm objective (same one that I use on my other hunting rifles) that I attempted to shoot, but acquiring the target in the crosshairs proved much more difficult than the little 32mm objectived with the lighted crosshair. I came home pleased enough to log back on to Amazon and order its big brother for one of my heavier hitting evil assault weapons, the aforementioned AR10, and was so excited paid the additional $3.99 for overnight shipping (thank you Amazon Prime!), as I have a pig hunt starting on Good Friday. I will be back to post its review!

My scope does not look anything like the pic above. But it is a 1.5-6x32mm. The illumination dial is on the left side of the scope, opposite the windage turret. I have not shot it yet, but it seems like a decent scope. I gave it 4/5 stars because it is kinda heavy. However, this is going on my AR which is a light rifle compared to my 700P.

I'll try to answer some questions that I had:

Yes, it's made in china, stamped right on the bottom. But it seems well built from what I can tell. The clicks on the turret are audible and I like the fact that they lock when you press down, so you dont have to worry about knocking it out of zero. Plus, weaver put their name on it, so it's got a lifetime warranty.

The glass is clear and the reticle isn't large. The hatch marks are kind of close together, but I think it will be alright. I'm not sure if they're calibrated for 5.56 or not.

It's a SFP scope.

The battery isn't a non standard, the one in mine is a CR2032.

The lens covers are junk, plan on buying some butler creek if you want some on it.

Nice scope. holds zero on 308. Taken some bumps. Love the reticle. Great size. Not long enough to get in the way. Target knobs are high but not too high. Very good for brush hunting. Sure wish ity was true 1 power at same price. I don't know why but all the retailers have the wrong picture or Icon of this scope. Same body as the zombie model Kaspa.

I'm disappointed in this scope. The cross hairs were not level with the turrets. And it has a pretty narrow field of view at all powers. The eye box is very unforgiving you have to be on it just right or its completely black. I was willing to live with those because of the price, but the nail in the coffin was it was not able to hold zero. I triple checked my mount it was fine.

I paid $149.99 for this (Amazon) which seems to be the best available price; this item was unavailable from MidwayUSA and Optics Planet when I made my purchase.

This optic is mounted on my S&W15 Sport II in a Burris PEPR mount. Unfortunately, the full package is quite heavy, as neither the mount nor this optic is exactly light weight. This should be no surprise - you don't get all those features for so little money without giving something up!

Also, regarding the batteries, this item takes a CR2032 coin-type battery. There's nothing 'non-standard' about that.

The good: Clarity is very good, excellent for the price. The turrets are large, but they provide positive clicks and can be 're-zeroed' after sighting your rifle. The illuminated reticle is very nice, but I wish you could actually adjust it to be more dim by another notch or two. Most importantly, the value of this scope is really unbelievable.

The bad: Weight, although I contributed to that problem by choosing such a heavy mount... which I am also reconsidering.

The ugly: Eye relief is pretty much unacceptable. When set on high power, I have never used an optic that was so absurdly picky about eye placement.

The bottom line: I'm selling it and looking for a lighter option with better eye relief. Lord knows its going to cost me a lot more than $150 though!

Edit to add:

There is some confusion about what this thing looks like. It is the black version of this:
