Product description

Web Alert enables you to monitor any website for changes (even when a login, a form post or password prompt is necessary to access the site). Get notified when a price changes, a new article is published, you receive exam results or an answer in a forum, a registration period has opened, etc. You can also check if your own website is currently online and working correctly (UI testing and web monitoring).

You navigate with its special browser to the webpage and the app will track your navigation steps so that these can be repeated later in the background periodically. On the page you select the text (or HTML) visually that you want to watch for updates so you receive only notifications for modifications in these parts. The alarm report of the checker highlights the differences.

Technically speaking, other apps only automate checking repeatedly the raw content behind a simple URL. This app, however, also features Web Automation where instructions (macros) are recorded interactively (e.g. like iMacros). Your actions to reach the website (and your selection of the text whose updates you want to keep track of) are replayed automatically in intervals specified by you. This gives you the additional opportunity to oversee alterations in Deep Web pages.

This is one of the apps that can save you time and money. It's an incredible app that lets you know when changes appear on a just about any website you enter. It's like a little bot that you order to refresh the relevant pages so that it investigates for you if a change has happened, if that change is relevant for you so you won't be disturbed unnecessarily and don't have to bother checking or remembering to check. You instruct it the way it should do its task (it repeats you), how it should browse, its frequency, and if, when and how you would like to be notified. There are just so many options you have at your disposal for precision but it's not complicated and really quick to set up.

This program tracks by copying your actions to get to a web page and then looking at a portion of the page you designate. I was never able to have it work with tracking when hot shopping items went online.

This app is very helpful when it checks the correct parts of a webpage which I had a problem with. Unfortunately the developer doesn't provide any support. All emails go unanswered.

Wonderful app, with great options. The developer appears to have thought of everything. There are numerous useful features. For really important alerts you can have your phone make a repetitive sound which carries on until you stop it.You can set certain areas of webpage that you want to watch for changes. You can set a quiet period where the app will not disturb you (individual alerts can override this). You can choose whether to load the mobile or desktop version of a website. You can get alerts if a website is unreachable. Alerts are editable with a list of options to change. The main page looks attractive as it lists your alerts with the website's icon to the left.
