Product Description

The popular and economical Weber Spirit family of gas grills adds a more fully featured E-330 model to the lineup in 2016. The new Spirit E-330 grill includes a handy 12,000 BTU side burner for cooking accompaniments and a 7,500 Sear Station Burner that boots heat to quickly sear foods, then turns off for regular grilling. Other features include long-lasting porcelain-enameled cooking grates and porcelain-enameled Flavorizer Bars. Positioned above the burner tubes and below the grates, these V-shaped Bars shield burner tubes from port-clogging debris. They also serve to catch and vaporize food drippings, creating the smoke that flavors food. The Spirit E-330 LP gas grill carries a 10-year warranty on the porcelain-enameled lid and burner tubes and a 5-year warranty on grates and Flavorizer Bars. Not available in natural gas.

Fantastic grill for the money and very high quality. Well worth the extra cost over some of the cheaper brands out there. Here are some of my observations:

1. Box is VERY heavy so make sure you take that into account. The delivery driver was kind enough to put it in my garage for me as I did not have a handtruck to move it, but yours may not so keep that in mind.

2. Setup took approx. 2 hours taking my time and being extremely careful. A good screwdriver and a couple of box end wrenches were all that was needed tool wise. Definitely helps to have a helper during the process as well as a large area to lay out all the pieces. During the setup you can definitely tell that the grill is MUCH higher quality than other brands out there. I've had 3 Charbroils (last one completely rusted out on the inside after 4 years) and they are not even remotely as nice or well made as this Weber. I fully expect this thing to last as long as they say it will.

3. The sear burner is a very nice feature to have. Made some strip steaks my second time using the grill and they got a fantastic sear/crust on the outside. Just make sure you take the extra heat into account when cooking. 1-2 mins per side over the sear burner was plenty, finished them indirectly after that.

4. Size is perfect for cooking for 3-6 people easily without crowding the grill surface. The Genesis line is a bit larger surface area wise, but honestly dont see the need unless you are cooking for many more people regularly.

5. The fuel guage/tank hanger is cumbersome. Lifting a full propane tank into place and hooking the little hanger on the handle is a bit of a pain but doable. Just watch your fingers.

6. Cleanup is VERY well thought out on this grill. There are 2 removable grease trays/traps that work very well and Weber even included a tin liner pan for the bottom tray.

Love my new grill. Cast grates are the only way I like to grill. the new sear station option adds additional heat that makes searing a Medium Rare steak a snap! the set of four floating coasters makes mobility a snap! Great heat output, and stylish looks round out the package. Not to mention the 10 year warranty, and Weber reliability make this the grill I plan to own for the next twenty years.

3 month update: I have never made a more perfect Beer Can Chicken! Steaks grilles to perfection! Chicken breast cooked amazingly! I even used the grill to cook my Easter Ham as something else was cooking in the oven, came out better than using the oven. First cleaning was easier than any past grill I have owned.

Took 90 minutes to assemble, but I am old. Follow simple instruction and easy to complete. This replaced my other 10 year old weber that rusted out. This should last longer, nice price point, expensive, but not crazy expensive, well designed and worth the money.

I will supplement this review after I use the gail for awhile, however the first joy of owning this grill is building it. I didn't want to forget it prior to writing this. There is such thoughtfulness in putting together the instructions and even the order of the fastener presentation in the plastic bags that they come in. It is a work of art to assemble. You can see the quality as you put it together. As rarely happens for me, I was able to put this together without backing up and fixing something that I did incorrectly. If you buy this, try to take your time and enjoy putting it together. It takes awhile, but it is a marvel of organization.

Love this thing. Too many grills I've owned are difficult to control the heat on and never get as hot as I like for thinner cuts of meat. This thing heats quickly (about 10 minutes to 500 degrees). The grill seems to be well built event down to the design of the drip pan system. Fewer flareups. The side burner is also well built.

Installing the tank for the first time took some effort but the second time went smooth. Scale for tank seems accurate.

So from other reviews I'm guessing that every grill now seems to come with some minor damages. My grill came with several aesthetic damage issues.
First off, I ordered my grill and wanted to do the assembly myself to avoid assembly damage and scratches. Assembly and clean-up with testing does take a few hours. I was taking my time with it. Upon unpacking the first thing I found was that the base of the grill was dented in near a wheel caster mount. I thought for sure this would make the grill sit uneven but after assembly there appears to be on issue and you can't see the problem. The next thing I found was a missing bolt on the interior lid's thermal heat shielding. I did find it in the box and was barely able to reattach it. These are very cheaply made and I'm not sure how long they'll last. These are actually the only thing in the grill's design that I found to be made poorly. The final thing I found which really upset me was right on the front of the hood above the Weber emblem. It looks like two dents that happened during the manufacturing process. I just have waiting to buy something new and nice for yourself and never getting to appreciate it before it becomes not so new and shiny.
Overall, you can see that lots of work went into the design of this grill. They're expensive but they do look built to last if they're taken care of. I don't think you will find better for cheaper.
