We’ve always been forward thinking, but it’s never been truer than in our new Genesis E-310 series gas grills with front-mount control knobs. We moved the control knobs from the side table to the front panel for full-on heat control and gave you two extra large stainless steel tables for all of your grilling needs. And we did it without compromising an ounce of the cooking performance that makes Genesis a legend. The Genesis E-310 gas grill comes equipped with an electronic ignition system providing you with quick and reliable ignition. The enclosed cart discreetly hides your LP tank (tank not included) and a precision fuel gauge lets you know exactly where you stand on fuel at all times. Porcelain-Enameled cast-iron cooking grates retain heat evenly and sear foods beautifully. The black porcelain–enameled shroud has a built in center mounted thermometer and the steel doors and aluminum end caps are also black.
Weber Genesis E Series Gas Grills
Excellence from Every Angle
You'll love cooking up a storm on this glamorous grilling stunner. The Genesis E series gas grill comes fully equipped with front-mounted control knobs, porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates, and porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars to effectively hold and distribute heat as you grill. Now your skills can rival those of the world's greatest restaurants and steak houses.
Weber's Original Gas Grilling System
Notice how sturdy the shroud feels as it opens smoothly on its hinges? See how the burners roar to life on the very first try? Delighted by how simple it is to achieve a mouthwatering meal every time? It's no accident. Weber spends countless hours perfecting the grilling systems on its gas grills, assuring easy assembly, an evenly heated cooking surface, and precision controls so you can tone things down or up to the perfect heat level for direct or indirect cooking.
Cookbox and Shroud
The cookbox houses the components of the cooking system: cooking grates, burner tubes, Favorizer Bars, and the grease management system.
Made of cast aluminum, Weber's gas-grill cookboxes are durable, efficient, require minimal care and maintenance, and can withstand the heat needed to grill at any temperature. In addition, the shape of the cookbox, when combined with the shroud, allows for the proper circulation of heat around food for even cooking whether you're using direct or indirect heat.
Weber gas-grill cooking grates come in three exceptional materials: porcelain-enameled steel, stainless steel, and porcelain-enameled cast iron. Each type retains heat evenly and sears food beautifully. Porcelain-enameled steel cooking grates are durable and easy to clean. Stainless steel rod cooking grates make lovely sear marks, hold heat very well, and clean up with ease. Porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates combine the ease of porcelain-enameled with the superior heat retention of cast iron--no need to season and easy to clean.
Weber's burners are made of high-grade stainless steel, which will stand up to the small amounts of water found in liquid propane and natural gas. The burner tubes are made of a singular piece of steel with no welds, making them stronger and more resistant to rust and burn-through. And while they are protected from grease drippings and food by the Flavorizer bars, Weber cart gas grill burner tubes can be cleaned easily by gently brushing with a Weber stainless-steel grill brush.
Controls for each burner give you the ability to grill by the direct or indirect method. Even more, the burners are spaced to provide heat across the entire cooking grate, and the burner valves have infinite control settings, so you can fine-tune the heat levels.
The innovative Flavorizer bar system, originally created by Weber, is designed perfectly to perform a variety of functions on the Spirit , Genesis, and Summit gas grills. Angled just right, the Flavorizer bars catch drippings that smoke and sizzle, adding flavor to your food. Any drippings not vaporized by the Flavorizer bars follow the slope of their unique angle and are funneled away from the burner tubes, down into the grease management system. Not only does this help prevent flare-ups inside your grill, but it also protects the burner tubes from becoming clogged.
Made of either porcelain enamel or stainless steel, Flavorizer bars are durable, long lasting, and easy to care for. Periodically brushing them clean with a Weber stainless-steel grill brush will help keep Flavorizer bars performing at their best.
When juices drip off the meat, they funnel down to the Flavorizer bars, and then what doesn't vaporize into wonderful smoke goes down into the grease management system. The grease management system consists of an angled grease tray and catch pan. The grease tray rests beneath the cookbox a safe distance from the burner tubes to prevent the grease from catching fire. Grease is channeled down the grease tray and into the catch pan. Both the grease tray and catch pan are easy to clean. The tray easily slides out of the cabinet for cleaning, and when the catch pan starts to fill, simply remove the disposable drip pan, toss it in the trash, and replace it with an empty pan.
A fuel gauge lets you know exactly where you stand on fuel at all times.
Sear Station Burner & Side Burner (Model E 330 Only)
Maximize the heat without minimizing grilling space. This high-powered sear burner is designed to step up the heat on demand for searing. Even more, a flush-mounted side burner lets you multi-task while grilling.

Top customer reviews
Issues during assembly(2): 1. Door height needs adjustability to make them line up (for us OCD customers), 2. the parting lines in the front panel casting needed to be filed down to fit. Screw would have broken out casting wall if assembled as received.
My husband and I put together our new Genesis grill (and actually had fun doing it together ;) The only comment I might make is that the instructions for putting it together are in picture form and one or two of them are a wee bit hard to interpret. I love every other aspect of the grill. And it's a Weber so I know I'll never have difficulty getting parts which, IF I ever need them, won't be for a very long time.
Since setting it up, which takes 2 people just over an hour or so, It fired right up. It seems to heat up quickly and cooks well. I don't think anyone looking for this type of BBQ could go wrong and I see, based on the quality, that this should last for a very, very long time.
Best grill I have ever owned. No hot spots. I cook a grill full of bacon to season the grates and it cooks evenly with no flare ups at the correct temp.
Save money and buy this grill. You won't need to buy another one for years and years and you won't screw up meat due to hot spots
Where to begin.
The shipping container is a reinforced cardboard box and weighs about 180 lbs. I was able to move it myself by sliding it along the floor, but keep in mind, I'm in great shape, 31 years old, and am at the gym four times a week. I did say slide by the way, just slide. Even doing that, I was winded. There was no way to lift this gigantic box, no way, no how. I live on the first floor backyard apartment in Brooklyn and if anyone from NYC knows, we have narrow hallways. So I disassembled the box, item by item, and put it together in the backyard in 20 degree weather, thinking to myself how delicious that first bite of that steak was going to be, and how my fingers wouldn't get hypothermia putting the grill together no matter what my girlfriend said.
They did think of everything though. The directions were simple, easy to follow, and the only annoying part was taking off the plastic on the panels, which you have to have nails for.
It took me about an hour and half. I had already purchased a propane tank from the local supply shop and had the tank ready.
The propane gas regulator is awesome, it's a simple system that tells you the amount of propane you have left my gauging the weight in the tank, it works flawlessly so far.
The doors and hood are quality, like heavy, american made, not going to fall apart on you quality. The finish I choose was copper, and it does look pretty sharp in the backyard.
The grill heated up quickly with all three burners on after 15 minutes to about 550 degrees in 20 degree weather in a setting sun during a January NYC winter. After seasoning the grill, i cooked my first steak using my handy thermometer and was delighted with the results. The entire experience left me a changed man, from hungry to satisfied, from ridiculed for buying and building a grill to championed and heralded for bravery by my girlfriend, from Weber-curious to Weber fanatic as this is the best grill 700 bucks will get you.
