2 out of the 3 burners will *not* light using the electronic igniter, only the rightmost burner and the side burner will ignite using the electronic system, I have tried all the suggested 'troubleshooting' remedies suggested to no avail!
(basically there must be a problem between the igniter controller and the recalcitrant burners/igniters)
for a unit at this price point, it should *just* work out of the box, now I have to waste time engaging Webber customer service to determine what cr*p item has failed and get it repaired or replaced, or simply have Amazon come and
get the damn thing and take it away.
NOT the experience I expected nor wanted!
Something tells me that my argument is done, and that perhaps I should invest my own into employing a bunch of Chinese at a really low cost to build what I think is a great grill. hmmm Anyway, I'm done... Here's my post from 6 months ago before I learned I most likely purchased a used/reshipped Weber grill thru Amazon.
At 1000 plus dollars, I would never imagine the metal being so thin that nearly every flat sheet of metal has a bend or dent in it. Perhaps mine went thru something awful, but it was a big job assembling it before the final dent was too much to accept. I would have accepted the grill and lived with the dents I could more or less push out myself, but only if Weber could have replaced the burner shelf, that dent was the deep one I couldn't live with, see pict, but after waiting on Amazon who was waiting on Weber, who wouldn't answer their hotline for over 15 minutes, we didn't feel like we had an option to replace the one really bad part, thus the long return process of a 154lb item. Amazon was good about picking up the item, on the second request, but then there was some drama about them not being able to find it and they began warning me to return it, long after it had been picked up.
That said, I spent a lot of money on a company product with no support, and its my loss

I'm very comfortable with assembling items I purchase. The claim here was 90 minutes. Well, it takes a lot longer than that, so be prepared. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the parts all fit very well. It's just that there is a lot of work to be done, a lot of parts to put in place, and in the end you will be happy with the end result ... just prepare more time to do the assembly.
I really like the fit of the parts, the fact that the controls are all well built, the snugness of everything fitting together, and how so much is actually put into a compact space. This replaces an older Weber with a smaller box, but much wider cart and side shelf space ( that we didn't need.
I haven't fired it up yet because I got the NG version and need to swap the coupler. That's a quick job but I just put on the new cover and decided to be finished for the day. As someone who has had a Weber for many many years, I do suggest you order the cover to go with the grill. They are such a pleasure to use when protected from the elements.

The only reason I docked a star from the review was due to the free assembly Amazon was offering. The assembly team never showed up! I contacted Amazon and the team that was assigned to come out and assemble it about it and Amazon did nothing to make it right while the assembly team never responded. The grill is amazing but the way they advertised free assembly and never assembled it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
