Books reads like a breeze.

I've been writing copy since 2007, and this book still inspired me to rewrite my website copy (specially the headline, subhead, and value proposition). Since those are arguably the most important parts of my website, I'm a happy camper.

Would recommend this book anytime.

So many short books regurgitate what you've read in many other places. This doesn't. It's short, sweet and so accessible. I'm finding it exceedingly helpful!
The author tells you what a really good presenter does – here's what you're going to learn; here's what you'll be able to do at the end of this session/book. At that point, I knew that this was going to be a book that I would *read* rather than skim. I hate to call this a workbook. That really undervalues what it is. It's more than that. But it is very practical. And who doesn't need that?

I've been a conversion copywriter for almost 3 years now and this is hands down the BEST website writing resource I've found. Claire clearly and concisely lays out every aspect of the copywriting process in a way that is easy to understand and incredibly actionable. I'm going to be revising my own project flow and research templates to incorporate some of her suggestions.

A well written book that covers step by step instructions on how to craft your website design to attract your ideal customer and convert them into happy customers. I was impressed with the accompanying worksheet for the book. As I worked through each chapter, Claire gives you action steps to take to write down in the worksheet your website plan. The last chapter covers how to write copy for your website once you have done the exercises in the book. The exercises in the book cover: to know your website goals, building your website strategy based on your goals, how to identify different types of visitor to your site and how to treat them, identifying your website mission critical goals separate from your "nice to have" goals, how to do customer research, and how to use this research to write your copy. Super useful book I will be referring to often as I plan and write my website copy.

I work in Customer Success and although I am not directly involved in Marketing an building website landing pages at my company, I found Claire's book a very handy and useful guide to what I should be looking out for when promoting new services and features we launch.

Her checklists are very useful and guide you straight to what you need to look out for - no noise, fluff, or big fancy words to fill pages. I currently use a lot of what I learnt there to analyse landing pages of some of our competitors - it really helps me to be more critical about their strengths and weaknesses and what they choose to portray on their websites.

I wish the book all success!

I very much appreciate the candor, insight, and readability of Websites that Convert. Definitely worth a read for novice and experienced users alike. Her work is evidence-based and also rooted in reality of the day to day life of the many busy people launching new websites. I found her compassion and clarity refreshing and supportive. The details are always super helpful, with visual examples for those of us who like to see it in action, and alternatives to fit different scenarios.

I'm working on my 3rd startup and I thought I understood CRO and copy, but this book showed me a much deeper level I wasn't aware of. Claire offers a super useful framework with tools and resources to help everyone - from beginner to someone like me (who thought he knew what to do). Highly recommended!
