Cole Benton runs his father's bridal magazine, although he covets the outdoor lifestyle magazine he hopes to move to one day.
Their next business venture will see them come together, to work towards benefitting both their businesses. After all, how difficult could a fake marriage be, and with the public making their every decisions, what on earth could go wrong??
The fact that these two have met before, have had a hot and heavy relationship before, only breaking up when Daisy tried to take things to the next commitment level, shouldn't be a problem at all surely? They are great business people and adults.
This proved to be an entertaining, read. I enjoyed the easy storyline, and became equally invested in the characters.

For struggling wedding dress designer Daisy Willows this is an offer she can’t really afford to pass up. Her business is struggling in the economic downturn, her mother is ill and needs constant care which costs a lot and she needs to more staff to help build her company but can’t afford to do it.
The same can be said for Cole Benton confirmed bachelor, he runs his father’s bridal magazine which is slipping in sales and subscriptions and his father is putting more pressure than usual on him to turn things around when all he wants is to run the other magazine in his father’s empire, a travel magazine.
So when a mystery investor gives them the opportunity to save both their hides, do they have much of a choice other than to say yes. Even if it means spending way too much time close to each other. They have a past, they dated for a while until Daisy wanted forever and Cole pretty much ran screaming in the other direction.
As the “fake” engagement scheme goes into full swing and they find themselves getting closer and closer again, will the fake feelings become real? And what happens if they do, she still wants the HEA and he wants to remain single. But when a mishap makes the wedding real, will it change Cole’s mind or make him run faster than the road runner away from her? Meep, Meep.
“Cole wasn’t a forever kind of guy, but Daisy was certainly a forever kind of girl.”
This was so much fun to read. It was a fantastic book to dive into and get lost for a while. I found myself chuckling over their banter, sighing in frustration when Cole or Daisy would not give an inch, then grinning when they did give in. There’s a scene when Daisy is trying on dresses and Cole is feeling the strain that had me laughing out loud. Poor man.
“Then stop touching me, Dee. I can’t resist you much longer. You’re making this so damn hard.” “You don’t have to tell me that. I can feel it for myself.” She wiggled against his thigh.
There were times when I wanted to slap one or the other or both upside the head for not seeing the potential happiness that was right in front of them, but hey it wouldn’t be a romance novel if it didn’t have some doubt and angst in it, right.
The author has done a great job of letting these characters grow and realise that their feeling have gone beyond fake words and gestures. When the penny drops for Cole, sigh. The ending of this book will leave you with a big fat REAL smile. I loved it. There are a few side characters that are looking to be taken down the HEA isle, so this reader is hoping we get them. This is a perfect addition to the Lovestruck family.
I totally loved this book. Do you want a beach read that is sexy, funny, romantic, and fluffy? this is it sign
The plot moved fast, while somewhat predictable, I thought it was cute, and romantic. I found it to be perfect. As for the Cole character, well he,was juicy! Cole and Daisy were thrown into this hoax. It will save both of their businesses so the set up was quick and sapy. I love me some beach reading sappy and happy romances.
To save their companies, they’ll plan the fake wedding of the century...
Being thrown into their lives was somewhat humorous. Both Cole and Daisy were a couple. They broke up but they still have feelings. So there is a lot to love about their internal dialogue. Daisy was so cute and funny. I love this author for her style. She has a way of making me laugh and what better things to do on the beach? read, relax and laugh. I think we all need a fluffy romance to get through the weekend.
