Allegra Kallas might have been crushing on Draco Papandreou since she was 16 years old, but she has also spent a good number of years hating him ... or so she tells herself! When she discovers her selfish father has run his business into the ground and now expects her to marry Draco in order to dig him out of the mess he's made, she's furious! She seriously considers refusing, but because of the people that would be wrongfully affected, she agrees.
Draco is secretly looking out for Allegra's best interests because he knows her father isn't, but he's not a perfect man and will enjoy every minute of wooing her into his bed! She might deny she's attracted to him, but he can feel the fire the second she walks into a room and locks eyes with him. Let the fun begin!
Allegra has returned to her home in Greece for the christening of her half- brother but she is in for a rude shock when her father and the man that she had a crush on when she was sixteen Draco, blackmail her into marrying him to save her father’s business. Allegra is a lawyer and handles divorces and after what she went through growing up a marriage of convenience is not what she wants but it is what she will settle for that is of course until the sparks start flying between them and the air crackles with the heat.
Draco does not do emotion or love so this marriage of convenience is going to get him what he wants and that is Allegra she will be the perfect wife they suit each other so much she is intellectual and they get on well and even though the convenience includes the pleasures they can give to each other, he is convinced love will not enter the bargain until his emotions start to change.
MS Milburne has such a way with words that this story flows beautifully and has all sorts of emotions throughout, the sizzle between them is so very strong, both of them go into this with their own views and both need to work hard to change them for each other in such a beautiful way. Draco is the best hero so caring and loving he is a hero to die for and Allegra the perfect heroine for him, a crush that has grown into love. This is one that should not be missed I loved it from page one and was left smiling at the end thank you MS Milburne for another keeper.
Allegra Kallas is horrified her father would let Draco Papandreou be the one to save him from 100% disaster. Draco rejected Allegra and she has never forgiven him. Allegra’s dad is at risk of losing everything and since he has remarried and has a little baby Allegra feels sorry for him. But Draco Papandreou really!!!!!
She is home to attend her father’s newest child christening. But why is Draco attending. Her father has agreed to let Draco be the child’s god father, and Allegra the child’s god mother.
Draco proposes a marriage of convenience between him and Allegra and in return he with save her father’s financial issues. Draco knows that Allegra still has that fire for him that she always had and he is not above using that to blackmail her into confessing it.
Melanie Milburne is a superb author who can in writing have the reader feel as though they are right there witnessing this story.
Even through Allegra is not willing to admit it her and Draco fully belong together and do truly have deep feelings for each other.
