I like these pouches a lot. You can fit about 2-3 oz in the smallest one and 7 in the biggest one. The bottom isn't as wide as a store bought one since it needs to seal there, so they don't hold as much as you'd think. They're great though. I included a photo next to a 4oz store bought pouch.

So far so great! I am happy with my purchase.

Detailed review for the "Nature's Little Squeeze" reusable pouches.
I did a lot of reading reviews before deciding on which reusable pouches to get ended up going with these because they were the only ones I saw that offered a variety pack, which was a big plus for me.

Packaging looks very clean. Simple design with a clear message. The front shows their logo, lists the pouch size you ordered/quantity in the package and a summary of important basic facts. The back lists detailed pouch facts, warning, website for recipes and the customer service phone number.

I purchased the variety pack which comes with 2-3.4oz, 2-5oz and 2-7oz pouches. Initial thoughts: •the packaging makes you feel "green" •the pouches feel like they are good quality, the plastic feels nice and thick •double zipper for added protection *see through world symbol on the back for contents viewing (see through panel is at the top of the pouch) •max fill line •belongs to panel to write your child's name •freezer safe
•downfall: ~the pouches can not stand upright since the zipper is on the bottom (that was to be expected ~the pouches themselves do not have their size printed on them (I understand that people will put different amounts in them but I had in my head that it would have a "at max fill line contents are X oz" somewhere on the pouch) but not a deal breaker

Filing: double zipper is at the bottom of the pouch. The pouch stands alone upside down with cap on. You can use a wide mouth funnel (a breast pump flange work the same if you don't have a funnel) or just hold it open and wing it. If you are holding it open do not go up to the fill line; when you let go and the pouch settles your food will be above it. As a natural born rule breaker I tried to fill over the line and ended up with food in the zipper and oozing out. So stay under the line. The double zipper gives me a peace of mind for extra protection.

Caps: they do not provide extra lids so treat the like precious jewels lol. However the lids from my Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit pouches fit(orange caps) (I haven't tried other brands yet) so SAVE YOUR OTHER LIDS!

Shake/Bang Test: I was nervous about it staying zipped if the pouch was dropped. I did a bang test to put my mind at ease and was very pleased. Both zippers stayed closed and the cap did not break. :)

Use: Little man, who is 7 months old, had no trouble using the pouch. They are basically identical to the pouches you buy in the store with the exception of the zipper bottom. Since it does have a zippered bottom the pouches do not stand upright while not being used. After little man sucks until he can't get any more there is a tiny bit of food left just like any pouch (I would imagine it's what was left in the stem).

Cleaning: since there aren't corners at the top it is really easy to clean. They advertise that the pouches are top rack dishwasher safe but I prefer to wash all of the baby's stuff by hand so I cannot comment on that. A standard bottle brush fits easily in the pouches. *i do recommend standing them up on something to dry thoroughly since the top closes.

Overall we love them and are very happy with our purchase.

I bought the 5oz bags a little over 6 months ago and have been using them pretty much every day. My daughter takes one to daycare which usually has yogurt or apple sauce.
Pros:
-Easy for small hands to hold and suck out of
-Clear window on pouch so you can see what is inside
-Area to write your kid's name
-Less mess than kid trying to self feed with spood when you are in a rush

Cons:
-Takes more effort to clean than you think. I rinse them out first. Then scrub the cap, top of the pouch where the threads are, and the zippers. Throw them in the dishwasher. Sometimes after coming out of the dishwasher, I sponge wash the insides because it still smells strongly of the food that was in it. No mold ever grew on mine.
-The smell. It holds a faint smell of whatever food you put in it. I've scrubbed and washed and soaked in hot water. It doesn't come out. After using for 6 months, all the smells have combined to make something not very pleasing. I'm throwing mine out but am buying a new set.
-Leaks. I've had minor leaks from very watery items. If I pack apple sauce and leave it overnight, the liquid finds its way out the zipper and under the cap. I haven't had this issue with thicker foods like yogurt.

I still like this product even with the cons. My kid likes these pouches, I save some money by filling it myself instead of buying prepackaged pouches, and it's better for the environment.

Update 9/26/2017
Changing from 3 to 5 stars. I bought another set of the 5oz and they are working well. I haven't had issues with apple sauce leaking out like I had with the first set. One of the owners also reached out and sent a replacement set and offered a refund. Great service.

Great for homemade purees

I took a while to review this product so I could leave an honest review for other moms and dads. Overall, I like the product. It’s easy to use, and easy to clean. The key is letting hot water run through as soon as you can and not let the food build up in the zipper seal. They’re easy to clean with bottle and nipple brushes. Very good for moms and dads who make their own purees. They store well in the freezer. I pull one out and throw it in the diaper bag and it’s thawed out by the time I need it. My only complaints are; 1. I got the 5oz size, it actually holds less than 5oz. If you fill the pouch too much it all comes out when you squeeze the zipper seal closed. 2. I wish the company sent a few extra caps. I’ve already lost one. Also, be careful, caps are small enough to choke on. My son loves to try to put them in his mouth and scare me. Overall I would recommend.

UPDATE: WOW. Amazing customer service. Had to change my rating to 5 star. The company reached out to me addressing my concerns and helped to make things right. Super happy with this purchase and I will continue to use WeeSprout products in the future. Thank you for your attention to your customers.

I recently bought a set of these pouches for my daughter to use as she has been adamant that she wants to make her own baby food for my granddaughter, rather than buying packets, jars and tins. She is really concerned about the amount of hidden salt and sugar in some products and she wanted to do the best for her little girl. I have to be honest, I was a bit skeptical to begin with as I couldn't see an obvious way of getting the food in and I had visions of my daughter sitting there with a funnel trying to push the food in through the tiny hole at the top.

Anyway - it seemed the right thing to give it a go and I have to say I have been very pleasantly surprised at how clever and useful these little pouches are. The trick is that the bottom has a two resealable zippers which mean that opening the pouch to put in the food is exceptionally easy! I know it says it in the product description, but I wasn't convinced until my daughter showed me a pouch in use. She now brings me prepared pouches when I babysit and they are so easy to store and use (both full and empty)!

I wish they had had these clever little things in the 80s and 90s - I would definitely have been at the front of the queue. Well done WeeSprout.

PS - great service, quick delivery. Nice people to do business with. They did write to me afterwards to check I was happy with the product (which I was) and they haven't asked me to write this review. I'm doing so anyway - good product, good service, great company! Suspect I will be buying more.

Originally bought a pack to try out and very quickly bought another set!! They don’t leak at all (as long as I remember to tighten to cap) and are really easy to clean. If they sit for a bit before cleaning food can sometimes get stuck around the top, but I’ve found a little soak or placing them close under the faucet does the trick. The food freezer tray works brilliantly with these. The largest size is very large and my nearly two year old can just handle them.

This is an edit to my original review as upon receiving replacement pouches, the previously complaint about the sealable section has been resolved meaning my last pouches were defective. The new pouches do not pop open even with the built up pressure meaning, once sealed, you can squeeze them without worrying you'll be covered in it. You still do need to make sure you don't get anything caught in the sealable zip section as it makes everything harder (and messier) and can affect the sealing of the pouches. Providing this section is cleared and fully pressed the pouches can store paste-like consistency food items up to smoothie like consistency foods. I haven't tried more liquefied items, but I will continue to use these. They're especially handy to throw in the freezer!

I wish I had bought the pouches sooner, as I don’t use them as much now my daughter prefers to feed herself instead of from a spoon.
I liked the idea of reusable pouches to save money and throw away less plastic. They work really well if food is well blended, can be a bit tougher with bigger lumps.
Easy enough to wash, just hard to get bolognese-type stains out. I tend to rinse with hot soapy water and then put them through the dishwasher.
I would recommend to a friend.

They're great. I bought another brand of these and these are better and cheaper!
Don't wash them in the dishwasher though. It says you can but that really aged my other ones so don't even risk it. These are so handy though, nicely packaged, great for weaning babies or toddlers. My boy loves eating straight from them and he's 15 months. The round corners are genius. Makes a huge difference in ease of cleaning them. Previous food smells so linger though. Banana is bad. Maybe you can soak them in Milton or boiling water. Kids aren't usually too fussy though.
