The plot is promising. This author needs to work on character development. Let me understand why Kyle would find Jessica the kinda girl that's different than all the others he's hooked up with. Everything moved so fast with no detail to connect me to the characters or their movement. It was so abrubt to have these characters make this arrangement, to have dinner at his house, to her touching him in the office, to sex on his boat, etc. I feel like there's a good skeleton sketch of a story. Every scene needs more details. There is potential, but this story isn't finished at this point. I couldn't connect to each stage because the last stage hadn't been developed. Another example is the conversation of the mother in law... She went from you will never marry him to I am glad he has you all in a few paragraphs. Nothing happened to make her shift so dramatically. I won't spoil the end, but again... Other than a few quick sex scenes nothing made me understand why Kyle would do that. There needs to be a lot more development to this story!
I am very easy to please in the book and movie department. I enjoy nearly every thing I read or watch. This story has great potential, but it was too hard for me to stay in the story. There's just so much missing to move from one scene to the next and feel that Kyle and Jess could be at that place.
