That being said, it wouldn't be good for preludes/postludes or choir anthems. There's no harmony, just the melody incorporated into accompaniment. But I really enjoy playing through these hymns. For all you Episcopalians out there, some of these hymns are NOT the melodies we know (for example, How Firm a Foundation, Take My Life and Let it Be Consecrated, and When I Survey the Wondrous Cross are not what we're used to in the 1982 Hymnal).
Overall, this is a great book! I only deducted a star because there are several hymns I don't know or aren't the melody I'm familiar with.
