Climate Pledge Friendly
These are probably our favorites of the four brands we got (Lil Joey's, Alva Baby and Simply Being). Funnily enough, these were the only ones NOT on our registry. Since the Lil Joey's only lasted us a couple of weeks, we needed to add to the amount of diapers we had. These popped up as a recommendation, and I decided to check them out. We had been using one liner as an extra layer between the baby and the diaper before learning you weren't supposed to do that with microfiber, so the fact that these had bamboo was a plus. They do take a little more to dry than the other liners, but given their absorbency is so much better, that's a small price to pay.
Cost-wise, these are probably also the best bang for your buck. They're cheaper than AlvaBaby and Simply Being, have bamboo liners instead of microfiber and come with a wet bag as well. Plus, all of the patterns are adorable!
Haven't had any issues with leaks with these. We're using the AlvaBaby "newborn hack" to get them to fit our kiddo (about 8.5 pounds) with no problems. They clean easily with just simply tossing them into the wash with the soak setting.
In fact, the only issue we had at all with these was that one of the diapers was missing a snap. Thankfully, it's a snap that's only really important for fit right now, so she'll eventually be able to use it even without that snap. But, more importantly, the seller was very helpful and quick to respond, offering a partial refund for the one that was missing the snap. Great product, great customer service. I mean, what's not to like here? If we end up adding more diapers to our stash, this is definitely what we'll look to first!
July 2021 Update: A bit over a year later, and while the Simply Being ones have had to be thrown out, the 3 packs of THIS brand are still going strong alongside the AlvaBaby ones. The only bad leaks we have are at night (2 microfiber + 1 Thirsty). Granted, our kiddo sleeps 12-14 hours at night and is such a heavy wetter at night that when I tried to do disposables just during her sleeping hours, she went right through those and made an even bigger mess. The cloth diapers do great at mostly containing it (think we need some more Thirsties though). During the day, we do one microfiber + one bamboo. If we're going to be out, we do one microfiber + one Thirsties, and the former is the only time we ever have the occasional leak (which happens with AlvaBaby, too, so it's not a diaper thing). As far as poop? I think the last blow-out she had was when she was still really tiny and we were still getting the hang of things. Rashes? Every once in a blue moon in the morning, and it's always gone by lunchtime.
In terms of cleaning, we knock what solids come off easy into the toilet. Anything that doesn't come off gets taken care of in the washing machine. Out of the 24ish diapers we have in rotation, I think only maybe one of them has some light staining. We've used Dreft, Foca and Gain without any problems as well as the occasional OxyClean when at Grandma's house.

Excellent diapers with big improvements over other types
I cannot believe what a value these diapers are. The quality is top notch and the thoughtful design is so much better than other pockets on the market. For the price point, these diapers slay! I have grovia, thirsties, Alva baby, Leekalos, and the previous design of wegreecos. I like them all, but the improvements on these makes them the clear winner.To start the material and patterns are so great! There’s a slight sheen to the material that looks very high end.The absolute best thing about these diapers are the well designed upgrades:1. The front waterproof material is folded over to the inside. So smart though I’ve not seen this on any other diaper. Prevents leaks and the front of babies shirt from getting wet (read: less laundry and less changing baby’s clothes)2. The insert is inserted in a pocket with a flap over it so it cannot peak out. Yay- again, less leaks or potential for insert to touch clothes or baby so both stay dry.3. 4 different vertical length options with only 2 buttons to snap (all other kinds have 3 length options and 3 buttons to snap). If you look at my photo of the two diapers next to each other, the one is at the biggest size and the other at close to the smallest size. My baby is almost 3 months old and at the second smallest size (his bum is a bit big here as I have an extra insert in for his night diaper). There is so much adjustability in these diapers!!! I wish I had them when mine was a newborn. These are the only ones that would have fit and still been absorbent enough. If you want to cloth from newborn to toddler, these diapers are your best option and such a good value!!4. Elastic in front and back (front is new). Again, just one more way to ensure a better fit and prevent leaks since there’s no tummy gap.5. Same, highly absorbent bamboo insert. I love these inserts. They hold much much more than alvababy inserts.6. The waist snaps are a slightly different design with two snaps on top and one on bottom (reverse of other’s design). This makes the fit feel a bit more secure and doesn’t bunch up at all like some did previously.I’m only sad that all my diapers aren’t this style now. If I was building from scratch, I would buy only this style. Please offer more colors and patterns soon!! I cannot recommend these enough- whether you want to exclusively cloth or use them part time, these are the best I have found and at such an amazing price. Very giftable as well as they are high quality and super cute!
