The guy I hired to do my tile backsplash thought he was doing me a favor by using silicone to adhere my $2000 induction cooktop onto my quartz countertop. (I'm doing a remodel). Well, low and behold, the cooktop when hardwired into the outlet isn't turning on. So in order for an appliance techician to fix it, he has to be able to pull up and turn the cooktop over - and he is coming next week. The appliance company told me it is very difficult to get glass cooktops off countertops without breaking them when they have been siliconed in (never a smart move). It was stuck on TIGHT! I bought this product, left it on half hour, got a razor and cut my way gently around the cooktop and wow - it worked! The cooktop and countertop both are in perfect shape. This product is easy to use, smell is non-obtrusive, and most importantly - it works without damaging anything.

This stuff did a pretty good job removing caulk in our shower. We had to let it sit for longer than the directions said and it took about 3 applications, but it did soften most of the caulk. Still took a fair bit of work to get it off, but overall pleased. It has a very mild, fairly pleasant scent, so it wasn't obnoxious to let it sit for a while.
