This is a great guidebook for those who want to see the biggest state east of the Mississippi in a different light. Miles' well researched book not only tells about such odd things as the Georgia Guide Stones, but it also tells how to find them. I couldn't put this book down. This summer I am going to go on a mystery excursion right here in the old Peach State using Jim Miles' book as a road map.
It is also wildly entertaining! I am a native Georgian, so I have heard some of the legends regarding our lovely State. I have read and reread this wonderful book. It doesn't only focus on UFO's as an earlier reviewer stated. In fact, one of the most fascinating accounts, is of
Roman coins that washed up on the banks of the Chattahoochee River!!
Jim gets an A++ for a well written history of the paranormal events in
our great State. Hope he writes more like this one.
Hate to say it, but, needs more pics. Will Google some of the things I couldn't get to in person.
Little too much UFO stuff but I read most of it.

Great book. I really loved the chapter on ancient mystery's. The book did seem to focus on UFO sightings though. I would recommend it..Published on July 5, 2014 by James F. Jacks
Not only is Georgia weird, it is weirder than I ever knew, and I grew up here. Miles has a must read style and sense of humor. Read morePublished on November 30, 2013 by J L C Wickham
