I randomly decided to listen to this album on All Access with no idea who Mary Lambert was or what this album was about. It was new music. That's all that mattered to me. And wow.

This album has brought me to tears multiple times. It is so amazing. The emotional intensity and truth Mary brings is incredible. Buy it. It might make you a better person.

Mary Lambert has a very powerful message. You can not help but be affected by her message. I am not a woman or part of the LGBT ccommunity but I think the messages about acceptance and body image are strong and for all of us.

eloquent, elegant, and amazing!!! not a bad note from the much anticipated and eagerly awaited "She Keeps Me Warm", to new song "Sarasavati", to the reworking of "I Know Girls(Body Love)" from her original self released EP Letters Don't Talk. Mary Lambert is simply amazing, from her lush, but fragile, intimate, and poetically immediate voice, to her haunting and delicate melodies on both piano and guitar. I can't wait for the release of this Seattle songstress's full length album, as her star is on the rise and it's about time.

Mary is a 'no-nonsense' kinda girl. if you don't like the 'raw honesty' this woman sings about then you will not like her music. but if you're looking for THAT particular difference in music than this girl is for you. I for one, at 66, appreciate the fact that we have entered an age where we can use the words in music that we use everyday and someone isn't afraid to use them or tell about the angst of not being qwhat everyone sees as the "perfect" woman. you go girl. bring out some more. I love it.

Mary Lambert has a phenomenal voice, and her music is lovely and full of purpose. It's not the kind of music you rock out to at a club, it's the kind you want your children to listen to so that they understand societal pressures and flaws and maybe someday will learn to love themselves as they are.
