A powerful conclusion to a different kind of fantasy series, that is not godless and concerned with a feminist (although there are plenty of strong female characters), LBGTQ, and SJW agenda; thought provoking, and Christian in outlook, thrilling, intense, moving, this should appeal to readers in search of something other than mass market fantasy novels with agendas, like Riordan's latest. But it does have a hopeful outlook and in my opinion depicts a flawed character who becomes truly heroic, who experiences great adventures, great sorrows, and great happiness; a rewarding story.
As noted, mature themes, including violence and death, not for children under 17.
