I'm not sure how tight the tolerances of this product are, but mine arrived with the very tip looking like it had either been dropped, or just not ground to the correct dimensions. See picture for details. I was not expecting a needle-sharp tip, but at least a pencil-sharp one that is symmetrical.
Definitely not worth returning over, as it will still work just fine for my purposes. But this may be relevant to people who rely on this tip for very precise work. This is my first conical tip, so please leave a comment if this is within the usual tolerance of such tips, and I will revise the 3-star rating.
