I usually wear XXL gloves, so I was a little pessimistic when I ordered these since they only have XL available, but when I tried them on they fit very well. They are just snug enough so that I don't fear the gloves being loose and causing their own possible issues, but they slide on easily. I found the little loop things to remove the gloves works very well to remove the gloves. They are washable, which is a big plus! The terry along the thumb to wipe my brow seems adequate to the task. The gel is not critical to me for my intended usage, but the placement and volume of gel is non-intrusive. None of the seams look like they will cause pain points, so I really like the design and execution.
These will definitely be part of my hiking kit for any time other than winter, when I will wear a pair of insulated gloves. I also cycle, and these don't have as much padding as I am used to for cycling, but if I forget my cycling gloves, I will be comfortable using these as a backup.
They seem well put together, but in the unlikely event that I have an issue with durability, I will modify my review.
