Your Home. Your Way. From Anywhere.
Wemo devices use your existing home Wi-Fi network to provide wireless control of lights, lamps, heaters, fans, and much more – with no subscription or hub required. When using the Wemo Bridge and the Apple Home app, you can control Wemo connected lights and appliances from anywhere away from home by using the Apple Home app through Apple TV, or iPad set up as a home hub.
Ask Siri to Control Your Wemo Devices
In addition to enabling control through the Apple Home app, the Wemo Bridge also allows you to use intuitive voice commands to control your Wemo devices by asking Siri. Just ask, Hey Siri, dim the kitchen lights.
Take Control of Your Home. Room by Room
The Apple Home app allows you to group your Wemo devices by room so that you can easily control them all at once with your voice or with the tap of a button. Simply ask, Hey Siri, Turn off Kyle’s bedroom.
Create the Perfect Scene
The Apple Home app allows you to set a custom scene to control multiple devices at once, all with a single command. Start the day off right by simply saying Siri, good morning to start a personalized scene that warms up the house, turns on the lights and brews your morning coffee. Or let Siri know when you’re coming home so that the lights and heat are already on.
Set Customized Schedules
With the Wemo Bridge, you can use the Apple Home app to easily set automatic schedules for lights and appliances connected to your Wemo smart plugs and light switches. Keep your home comfortable by scheduling a fan to turn on at noon or schedule the porch light to turn on at sunset so that you never come home to a dark house.
Sleek, Compact Design
With its compact footprint and white finish, the Wemo Bridge has a sleek and unobtrusive design that blends in seamlessly with your home décor.
WeMo Bridge is a simple, clean solution that provides home kit compatibility to existing WeMo Core devices in the market.

To my knowledge, WEMO uses UPnP and tracks down the name of your WiFi SSID. Therefore, you cannot connect to WEMO devices in multiple homes/facilities. WTH!!!??? Who would design something like that??? TP-Link and others all support multiple locations and stability is much better. I've been moving most of my clients over to TP-Link for that reason. Belkin Support refuses (level 1 & 2 support) to acknowledge that of course, continue on with their PDF script in the call center and are more interested in asking if I've rebooted my router and if there is anything else they can help with. *sigh* I've spent thousands, yes thousands of dollars on WEMO hardware (38+ devices, such as dimmers, switches and outlets) and the best help I get is "have you rebooted your router and are you using 2.4Ghz?" However, being that this review is for the bridge itself, that is one thing WEMO has done right -- at least from what I can see thus far.
Belkin Support: If you're reading this, feel free to escalate to someone empowered with truly helping solve issues that are consistent among the WEMO community. What would be the answer to everything is to have ALL WEMO devices talk directly to the cloud and not relay via an SSID from a single router IP. Supporting multiple homes and eliminating the UPnP dependency will do the trick, for about everyone! Ticket # 09187927. Thank you and respectfully, big customer.
Set up is very easy. Simply take everything out of the box, plug in the power cord, then the ethernet, and you're done. I am very happy Belkin's Wemo made it so easy to get everything hooked up to the Home app. As someone that was impatiently waiting for HomeKit support, this is a great thing.
I have only one suggestion for the future. While I know this sounds unnecessary, I worked in IT and have run into the issue where the instruction booklet didn't say to plug in a power cord... The Wemo Bridge's booklet follows that trend and I'd be willing to bet that someone, somewhere, will think they only need to plug in the ethernet cord. Please update the booklet to reflect that a power cord does need to be plugged in. It is small, I know... Believe me, it will help someone, somewhere.
I don't have too much Wemo equipment (two switches for turning outside lights on and off, depending on sun up/sun rise) and a few outlet switches for lamps. The Bridge wasn't a need but it is nice to be able to control all the outlets with Siri or just in the Apple Homekit app, especially at night when I want to turn a lamp off remotely and quietly (i.e. not using my voice to wake up my wife).
Now I can not only use Siri/Alexa but also the Homekit app on my Apple Watch to turn off any of the automated lights (mixture of Wemo and Lutron Caseta). Very cool!
The only thing I've noticed (this is the biggest reason why I only gave it 3 starts) is that the Bridge DOES NOT support Wemo Link devices (which I'v got a bunch). I'm hoping that it's just going to be a matter of updating the Bridge's firmware to start supporting those devices.
Other than that, the Bridge impressed me with how fast it communicates to all the current supported devices. Controlling your Wemo devices is 3x faster than using the original Wemo App.
Now that Belkin got this out of the way, I hope that they'll expand their offerings to Light/Fan switches, Outdoor outlet devices and a switch that has built-in sensors to be used in Bathrooms and Laundry rooms.
Thank you Belkin and I hope the firmware upgrade to support Wemo Link is coming very soon. Once I get that update, this rating is going FULL 5 Stars.
