About Wendy C. Allen
Book publishing hiatus: November 14, 2013 I was beaten up by a woman who claimed to be a unpublished author. I was paralyzed for 5 months and am still 4 years later relearning to use my legs & arms.
April 2015 she returned, filled my motorhome with 1,000 of gallons of feces/raw sewage and cut my cats heads off nailing them to my door. 10 cats are currently still missing.
October 2006 she blew up my house with a bomb, in May 2013 put a bomb in my classroom at college, November 2015 put a bomb in my department where I work at Walmart, and June 2016 put yet another bomb in WalMart. The FBI is trying to identity of this woman. More info about these terrorist attacks on my family can be found here:
https://www.eelkat.com/1667Words.html If you have any information about this woman, please contact the FBI agent in charge of the case, his contact info is on that page.
Author interviews, book samples, and daily vlogs can be watched on YouTube @ https://www.youtube.com/user/EelKat

This anthology aims to be a showcase of recent indie writing.
Hugh Howey launched the idea on Kboards, a forum for Kindle readers, but also the meeting place of an active community of indie writers.
The result is this anthology of 101 very short stories by 101 authors.
To make it more attractive for you, the reader, we set ourselves a limit of a thousand words. You should be able to read each story in under five minutes — on your desktop computer, laptop, or tablet at home or in the office, but also on your smartphone, on the go, while you are commuting or waiting at a coffee shop for your significant other to arrive.
We included as many genres as we could. We hope that maybe, with only five minutes of your time on the line that would otherwise be wasted anyway, you'll be tempted to venture outside your comfort zone and try out some new genres and new authors.

Three Hundred years before Quaraun meet Unicorn in The Night of The Screaming Unicorn, he meet another Phooka, the same Phooka in another form, when an Elf eating candy-maker arrives in the Moon Elf Village and puts every one under a spell so that no one notices as villagers are one by one disappearing.
Young wizard Quaraun sees through the illusion, but instead of stopping it, helps the monster pick who to kill, and builds 13 phylacteries for the most infamous Lich making spell any wizard ever cast: the one that created the Thirteen Lich Lords, in the process falling in love with the leader of the Lich Lords, The Elf Eater of Pepper Valley himself.
Life is going good for the young wizard, until his best friend BeaLuna the Gnome alerts his father that there's more going on in the gingerbread house the making candy, and a mob of Moon Elves sets out to kill Quaraun in a public execution.
Enranged by the near murder of his lover, the illusions melt away revealing the Lich Lord and his innocent looking gingerbread house for the monsters they really are.
With the Twighlight Manor now threatening to eat every Elf in the village, the Moon Elves plot to destroy the suicidal Elf Eater and his sentient house, not realizing that worse things walked among then then Phooka's and Liches: a Thullid has taken up residence in the Pink Necromancer's head, remaining peacefully dormant until BoomFuzzy's death unleash's it's fury on them all.

GhoulSpawn and The Lich Lord's Lover: A Bizarro Fantasy (The Adventures of Quaraun The Insane Book 22)

$7.99
A portal opens up in their path and unexpectedly zaps Quaraun and Unicorn into the middle of the American Civil War, landing them right in the Confederate Army Camp. Mistaking Unicorn for an escaped slave and the French Canadian Quaraun for being an underground railway freedom fight for the North, they both find themselves in irons in front of a firing squad.
But one should never try to fight the world's most powerful Necromancer in a battle field of dead soldiers, especially not when he also has a Lich at his command.
With the Americans left to fight hoards of zombies, Quaraun and Unicorn escape to the nearby woods, where they discover the past, isn't what they thought it was, and this war, is actually a thousand years in the future... when Humans have progressed too far and are fast destroying themselves and their planet.
In a future after the Battle of Ongadada has already happened, wandering through fields of crashed planes, downed rockets, and dead autos, and worrying about the moon that is now shattered into millions of asteroids, another portal opens up, this one dropping the Chaos Demon GhoulSpawn into the Pink Necromancer's bed.
The three must work together to find their way back to the 1400s where they belong, but the growing relationship between Quaraun and GhoulSpawn has Unicorn venting his Lichish fury on the locals.

EelKat's Utterly Insane d20 & OSRIC Compatible Random Encounter Plot Twists To Knock Your Story Way Off Track
This is a set of random encounters to add chaotic insanity to your game adventures. These were originally designed for use with Dungeons & Dragon's Temple of Elemental Evil game adventure played to the SpellJammer Campaign Settings, so they blend Epic Fantasy with Science Fiction and Gothic Horror elements. They are intended for the Dungeon Master who wants to add comedy relief madness to their game.
These Random Game Encounters cane be dropped into any game, any campaign, any setting. Our group used them in Ravenloft, Forgotten Realms, Pathfinder, White Wolf Changling, and Paranoia game settings, and used them with a wide range of Dungeon Crawl Adventure books. We used them quite a lot with AEG d20 Mini Adventures series.
These encounters were designed for use with a game group that contains an excessively bumbling wizard with is very powerful, but usually too high or too drunk to get his spells right resulting in his opening up portals and dropping weird monsters, aliens, or non-player characters in the middle of the groups' camp. Our group used these encounters as wacky spell results for a wizard with very powerful spells that needed to be brought down lower levels.
How these encounters came to be written:
As a game player I created a Chaotic Evil aligned Moon Elf prince turned Necromancer to play in Temple of Elemental Evil. Because he was a player character built on a level 28 monster template, he had powers far outranking the rest of the game group making him formidable against all enemies. But the rest of the game group was level 3, so he had a long list of handicaps added to his character. I made him a soul bound Elf who's mate (a psychotic Faerie) had commit suicide, driving the Elf to madness from grief, becoming suicidal himself and turning to drinking and drugs to bury his sorrows, gave him a rainbow wand straight from the 1970s, and dressed him in technecolour pink dresses. The result was a very 'high' High Elf who ended up casting spells that caused things like g-string wearing rainbow coloured dancing teddy bears parading through battle fields disrupting everyone's ability to fight (when the spell was supposed to have blown up an Orc) and resurrecting fields of dead soldiers as utterly useless pink flying goldfish.
In recent years I took my player character and started writing stories about his life (what happened to him between the game sessions, his back story before meeting the game group, and his life after leaving the group) and ended up using these same random encounters as writing prompts for the novel series.
Not intended for children.

In the 1990s a film crew showed up in our yard and announced they wanted us to line all our cars up on Exit 5 out of Saco into Old Orchard Beach, because they were filming a movie about Gypsies and wanted to have real live Gypsies in the movie. We thought nothing of it. All the white trespassers wanted was to film pictures of our cars driving off the turnpike, and then take more pictures of us on our farm and around the town. We didn't know who Stephen King was, had never heard of him, never read his books, never seen his movies, and had no idea, the trouble we had caused ourselves by allowing his film crew into our lives. They filmed their movie and left and we went on with our lives, little knowing that there was no going back, and our lives would forever be changed.
Skip ahead to after the movie came out.
No one in town knew who we were. We kept to ourselves, rarely setting foot off the farm, and lived in a lifestyle so isolated from American society, our customs and traditions unchanged since the 1800s, our cloths and our habits so outlandish, that most locals assumed we were an Amish community, that just happened to have cars. Until the summer Stephen King showed up, and one suddenly whispered over everyone’s lips: Gypsies.
Things changed around town after that, some locals loving the fact that Gypsies lived here, but most, running in terror at the sight of us and many local businesses suddenly closing their doors and putting up signs: “No Gypsies allowed”.
1996 was a pivotal year. With news of the film crew in the area, a rival Gypsy clan invaded the town, a violent clan, known to the FBI as: The Scottish Traveller Crime Family of America. Death, murder, sword fights, shoot outs with police, kidnapping, child sex slaves, bikes vanishing out of parking lots, copper pipes sawed off motels, and millions in stolen money and jewellery stolen from the summer tourists, the town of Old Orchard Beach was suddenly swept with a spiralling fear of all Gypsies, Roms, and Travellers alike.
The FBI's #3 most wanted crime family, fled town as the FBI agents stormed the town, terrorizing white men and local Gypsies alike in their hunt for this wild band of thieves. The news media jumped on the FBI's arrival and used it to promote Stephen King's movie, and suddenly the whole world knew where we lived and how to find us.
Summer 1997, was the first year the tourists arrived. Tens of thousands of them, roaming up and down the streets of Old Orchard Beach, with one question on their lips: “Can you tell us where Stephen King's Gypsies live? We came all the way to Maine just to meet them and see where the Thinner was filmed.” When they found our farm, the next question they wanted to know was: “Where's the witch? Where's the Gypsy witch, the one who casts all the curses?” The clansmen all pointed to me, as my new found fans rushed to shake my hand, hug me, and get their pictures taken with me and my now very famous “movie” cars. Their favourite car being “The World's Most Haunted Car”, the real life demon car that inspired Christine.
Every summer since the release of the movie, no fewer then 30,000 Stephen King fans arrive in Old Orchard Beach, seeking “Stephen King's Gypsies” (as they now call us), the filming location of The Thinner, the Gypsy witch that was immortalized in the movie, and her haunted car that terrorizes the locals.
Few know the story behind the real haunted car, what a Gypsy Queen/Witch really is, or what life is like, for my people in a world that is vastly different from ours. At the many requests given to me by Stephen King fans each summer, here is the answer to those questions, and a look at what it really means to be a Gypsy Witch or as she is called by her own people a Gypsy Queen...

In 2012 I had 12,000 Twitter followers.
In 2013, while I was hospitalized and offline for 18 months, a hacker highjacked my account and took control of it. I did not find out until 2015, and by that time, my follower list was down to 1,000.
Now, just 8 days after regaining control of my account, it already has 5,000 followers and growing by the hundreds every day.
And on Christmas Eve I gained a whopping 500 more followers in a single hour.
How did I do it? Well, that's what this book is all about.

One of the most commonly asked questions a writer hears is: "Where do you get your ideas?" This question seems to baffle and mystify people who don't write, as well as people who want to write but don't know where to start. Sometimes it seems as though the top selling authors are just well springs of ideas. New writers see this and become intimidated, feeling that they can never come up with so many great ideas.
Is there a secret to how writers come up with one great idea after another? Yes, there is. There is a secret to how we come up with endless ideas to write endless stories. I know the answer to that great big mystical secret, a secret so simple, you’ll wonder why you didn’t already know the answer.
This is the ORIGINAL (unexpanded and unrevised) article EXACTLY as it appeared on Squidoo way back in 2007 .

Quaraun wakes up in The Mournful Lamb Inn, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Every one tells him he arrived covered in blood and collapsed, but no one can answer any other questions, save a gargoyle-like beast of a vampire, who tells Quaraun he is dead by suicide and wanders through the Swamp of Death, the holding ground between life and death, heaven and hell. The holding grounds for people too good for hell but too evil for heaven, as well as the place where lost souls wander until they can be set free: The Mournful Lamb being the resting place for murder victims and suicide victims.
Confused and alone, Quaraun tries to leave the inn, only to discover a vast barrier around it prevents any one inside from getting out.
The vampire tells him the only way out is to look into his own memories and seek out the truth: seek for the three friends, who never travelled with you, answer the question: why do always travel alone.
Unlocking his past reveal a horrifying truth: BeaLuna the Gnome, Bullgaar the Dwarf, and BoomFuzzy the Unicorn were never there - figments of his warped imagination or ghosts of the past, he can't tell which, but in all this time no one but Quaraun has ever seen any of them, for they are all ghosts who now haunt their murderer.
