When the sun rose on the first American family campers more than 120 years ago, Wenzel was there, helping families escape, recharge, and reconnect. Today, the company still gives families the opportunity to break free from modernity and enjoy the rustling leaves and babbling brooks of the great outdoors. Wenzel's mission is to make it as easy as possible to hit the campsite, with compact, easy-to-pitch tents and sleeping bags that unroll into roomy, warm cocoons. Wenzel also makes camp pads that smooth out the rough forest floor, making outdoor experiences more comfortable than ever. Most importantly, the company is an ambassador to the outdoors, beckoning families to return to the place where memories are made and souls are fueled.

It is very toy/child looking (the bag is labeled "Official Trail Mess Kit" like something out of a camping playset), but it gets the job done. Certainly capable of providing cookware for one (maybe two, absolute max) person. My one suggestion is to also buy a clamp style pot handle. The handle on the fry pan is fine, but if you try to use the wire loop handle on the pot a few things will happen- you'll burn your hand on the hot metal and/or the pan will tilt and spill its hot contents (if water this may even risk your fire).
It doesn't look like much, and if you're going to do some serious cooking (and money and/or weight is no object) invest in a higher grade camp cookware set. But for my lightweight, minimalist style of camping (I use this over alcohol burning pop can stoves), its perfect
This is a fairly cheap quality kit, but it's VERY cheap to buy. I think you're actually getting slightly more than you pay for, and it's well deserving of five stars.
You will not use the little pot and the pot's cover will not cover the frying pan. You will not use the pot because it does not have a handle and if you try to pick it up using the flimsy attached wire, you will succeed only in spilling the contents of the pan on your feet.
The carrying case you will not use, they shouldn't even bother to include it. The icky blue cup you will also throw away.
I don't mind the cheapy feel of the metal, it's very light and that's what we want but just 'cause it's cheap doesn't mean the manufacturer should have to make it worthless. A tiny bit of mental activity on design considerations would vastly increase this product's use value.
