After using the screwdrivers for a few weeks I'm still not sure about the Kraftform handles. They do give a good gripping surface but are a bit weird (though I do find them comfortable to use). The only thing I noticed was that after a week or two of use, the tip on the #2 Phillips is just starting to show some wear. The gold finish, I think it's titanium nitride, has started to show some wear, but this is no biggy as the screwdrivers come with a lifetime warranty (my dad said in the shop he used to work at it was a joke that every time the Snap-On truck came everyone would line up with their worn out screwdrivers).
Also, just a note, these come in a stainless version(+$15) and and a non-laser tipped version(-$17) just in case you want to spend a little more or save a few bucks.
The grooves on the tip seem to make a positive difference without any noticeable damage or visual signature on the screw head.
The variable diameter handles are nice, though I would have liked the narrowest parts to be wider.
They are an interesting alternative to some "old school" Klein screwdrivers (like the 85074 set available here on Amazon) I own that I also like very much. The Kleins have a somewhat padded handle of a relatively generous uniform diameter that I might like just a hair more. Between the two brands I own, I hope to never use another narrow diameter hard plastic handled screwdriver ever again - except to pry open a can of paint when I can't find that little silver pry thing.
In any case, I keep the Kleins in my woodworking cabinet and the Weras on the pegboard for everything else.
Buy these and you should be pleased. Buy the Kleins and I expect you will also be pleased.
You deserve these screwdrivers.
I'm not a professional mechanic or lineman or oil rig operator or any other occupation to give me serious street credibility. Being a cowboy would be fun. But, I know a good tool when I'm using it, and these screwdrivers are fantastic. I've seen them for years--with the odd shaped handle and funny name, but just recently bought some for myself and I've been loving them.
First off, those funky handles: They feel great in the hands. I've got sasquatch hands, so for me they could be a teeny bit bigger, but they still feel great. Imagine having a screwdriver handle that starts off as just a chunk of clay and molds to your hand. Actually, I imagine that's how they probably came up with the design.
The laser etched tips are magical. It's like having the suckers of a giant squid on the tip of your screwdriver helping to hold the fastenser. I was recently removing a stubborn rusted license plate screw and just knew that it was going to mangle itself to pieces when I tried to remove it, but the laser-etched tip bit and gripped like a wolverine (with squid suckers) and the screw came out unharmed.Read more ›

Nice set of screwdrivers. I wish this kit would have had more phillips drivers, so what I did was buy individual PH0 and PH3 wera drivers. Read morePublished 11 days ago by kevin

The laser etch tips do actually hold screws onto the end of the screw driver as if it was magnetized. I like the look and feel of these screw drivers.Published 16 days ago by Mike57
I will have to come back and update this after I have had them for a few years, but so far I am very impressed with their ability to grip partially stripped screws.Published 20 days ago by cheesypoof
I love Wera tools. These are way above the Klein drivers I have used for over 30 years. No twisted blades yet. Good ergonomics.Published 1 month ago by Patrick
