Besides the fact that I previously loved the characters and loved the story line (seriously who wouldn't love a story about the 4 worst things to be in were form, a piranha, a sloth, a mosquito and platypus) about a were rock band, I loved what "changed".
Ms. Kontis brought Sam (Were Sloth) and his sister Natalie into the Nocturne Falls Universe in her recent book When Tinker met Bell When Tinker Met Bell: A Nocturne Falls Universe story .
Bringing the characters over made THIS story much more teenager than adult-ish as I first read it. The characters are so much more dramatic in their responses to what's happening around them including how they became weres. This story is fun and funny! I hope that we hear more about the other band mates in the future now that Sam has had some continuation in his story line.
The reason I read this story was that new NFU novel When Tinker Met Bell: A Nocturne Falls Universe story features Sam and Natalie, and although this story dates several years prior to the creation of Nocturne Falls, they fit perfectly. I wish, however, that the author finds a way to include Peter, Quinn and Romeo in future NFU stories. I would like to read more about the whole group.
