The remastering is at most slightly detectable on good equipment....I mean mp3 is not the quality of CD, period. But it is a nice inexpensive way to own the late great Warren Zevon's signature song. Enjoy it, and to quote W.Z. on the Letterman Show, "Enjoy every sandwich."

Well known track. Zevon at his best. Catchy melody, clever lyrics. Just a great listed whether it is the first or millionth time you have heard it. Like all great music it stands the test of time.

A brillant song writer is lost. Luckily, his work remains for us to enjoy. "Werewolves of London", along with "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me" and "Carmalita" (written with Jorge Calderon), may be one of the best know songs by this eclectic artist. Songs written by Zevon have been covered by artists such as; Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, and Kid Rock (alas not a real singer, but a "sampler"), and proves his contribution to the music world. This remastered version has cleaned up much of the background clutter that is prevalent in many recordings from the pre-digital days. I have the vinyl album "Excitable Boy", purchased in 1978, and this version seems to be clearer. I always give remastered versions a listen, and am often pleased by the results. Highly recommended, and if you haven't ever heard of Warren Zevon, give it a try.

I hate the song Sweet Home Alabama. Kid Rock combined this song with that now I can't get it out of my head. Not that Sweet Home Alabama is a bad song but I have heard way too many times. I grew up in Mississippi and I was worn out on the song by time I was five.

"Little old lady got a mutilated late last night"

This is a classic. Used to go to Tucson, AZ every year for a big gem/mineral show and this was our morning song. I know that's got nothing to do with anything, but it is what it is.

Good song. Catchy tune.

Werewolves of London featured on Zevron's 1978 album "Excitable Boy". Allegedly it has Mick Fleetwood and John McVie playing on it too. It has a wry sense of humour and a great rock style. Highly recommended.

I'm not a big fan of the artist, but this one is a great if you're throwing a Halloween party. If you're throwing a Halloween party, be sure to include it in your playlist.

Never heard of Warren Zevon before he made this record, but it is now a classic. The words are awesome, especially the words ": His hair was perfect". Love it!
