Hace a Keller ladder and they don't offer flipper replacements. Ordered these and they work just fine. Just drilled out the old pin and installed the new ones in just a couple of minutes. Works great.

This kit was precisely what I needed to repair my 24 foot extension ladder. It took me longer to get the tools out of the toolbox than it did to replace the flippers. Someone mentioned using a hacksaw to remove the rivet, but the instructions recommend drilling it off with a 13/64 drill bit, which worked very well and much more quickly than a hacksaw. The flippers will bind if you tighten up the nut and bolt too tightly. The springs appear strong enough and the ladder is back in service. Given that a new ladder is around $200, this is a great deal.

These are exact replacements for my Werner ladder. Every try getting the ladder down when one of these is broken? I'm going to store the ladder indoors from now on. Maybe these will last longer than the original ones. Easy to install. All you need is a couple of adjustable wrenches or a set of box wrenches. If you want to get fancy, you can switch out the hardware for some stainless steel nuts and bolts. Probably not necessary but those would last longer and not rust.

The kit has everything you need. Used a hack saw to remove the rivet holding the broken piece on. Everything new went together easily and intuitively. Their instructions were good, but not really needed. Have used the ladder a couple weeks now and it works like it should.

I needed to repair a pre-2000 Keller ladder (#3528); Werner bought Keller in 2000, changed the rung lock design, and stopped producing the parts for the old design. Werner customer service told me these were "universal" and should work. Not exactly. The bolts included are too small for the Keller design, so I had to find larger ones, then drill out the flippers to accommodate the bigger bolts. Also added washers, as the gap between the holes is bigger. Lastly, the length is a tad shorter, but long enough to work. I suspect their lawyers won't let them share this approach with you, and I guess I should also add the disclaimer that I'm not responsible if you choose to follow my path.

Worked great. Installed them with minimal effort. Hardest part was holding the spring in place while I lined up the holes. But it's working well and I don't have to manually move the rung catches at each level when I'm lowering the ladder. Huge safety risk is now solved.

This fixed 2 extension ladders where one flipper was broken. That made it impossible to use the rope to lower the ladders. I had to put the ladder on the ground in order to shorten them, which meant having to walk the ladder down while it was extended. I'm 56 and I'm a short, less-than-muscle-bound guy, so that was always a challenge. If I remember correctly, neither ladder was a Werner brand.

Now both ladders work great! I'm very satisfied.

The plastic is flimsy and not as stout as originals. The items had to be filed quite a bit to allow them to rotate. I feel the pieces were inferior and should not be sold as replacements if they need modifications to get them to work.
