February 4, 2017: The alarm works well, still, but after one knock off the counter, the back piece broke off. Which means that it won't prop up or stick to the refrigerator anymore. They need to make the back piece more rugged. My first one had the same problem. If you do buy this, don't drop it or knock it off the counter, because it will more than likely break.
That being said, every other timer I found before this one didn't have a reset button and had to count up to its max before returning to zero. Who ever though that was a good idea... never used a timer. So the fact that this one HAS a reset button and number buttons is an automatic WIN in my book!!
Now I look for things to time. I even set it at eight pm last night for ten hours, to wake up at six am, and it worked much better than my alarm clock since I wake up at different times and sleep in sometimes too.
Loud enough for my studio apartment, even distinctive enough when I have the TV on.
Got to go, laundry is ready in the laundry room. I'm sure my neighbors will be happy I time when to go get it now.
