The blades have a standard gentle curve with a quite narrow width, ideal for snipping away in tight locations or if visibility as you cut is crucial.
Has a max cutting length of 31mm.
Total length : 103mm
These have a nice rubberised finger grip (the yellow part of the handle), far easier on your finger and thumb than conventional all metal scissors.
The dark grey area is plastic and unfortunately not of a substantial strength. Not sure if this is because there is not enough metal inserted deep enough into the handle or simply because of their small size, but it is easy to achieve lateral movement in the handle as you cut... or even 'x-over' the blades beyond the closed position.
However, they are not mean't for any heavy duty cutting and therefore this issue shouldn't be a problem.
Despite the slight flimsy feel to them, I still like them. ...but, just don't throw away the card packaging containing details on the 25 year warranty that come with these scissors!
