These are nice six (6) inch rulers...just what my nephew needed for school and I love the flexibility in them, hopefully he won’t break them.
After reading other reviews on these rulers, I was a bit hesitant to buy them, due to the sticker and how difficult others said it was to remove it. Well, I like Westcott Products and I trust the name, so I ventured out there.
Well, it wasn’t too difficult and I was able to remove them and the glue with ease. Here is what I did:
1) Slowly peeled off the sticker so that the adhesive would remain on the label instead of the ruler;
2) Rubbed each area where the label was removed on the ruler with Extra Virgin Olive Oil using a paper towel (Sam’s Brand a shouldn’t matter though);
3) Placed both rulers in hot water with Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (Any fragrance should work) and allowed them to soak for about 20 minutes;
4) Used a plastic-type pot scrubber to scrub the existing glue right off the back of the rulers, rinsed them down and dried them with another clean paper towel.
Just like new, with no signs of a label ever being placed on them.
