With "titanium bonded blades," they are a notch above most choices as far as their quality goes. This material is supposed to keep the blades sharper longer and better resist corrosion, touting to be 3 times harder than steel. Time will tell on how long they hold up, but I have put them through a few paces thus far, cutting through thick cardboard, plastic, and have even pruned a houseplant with them, and they have worked perfectly.
Although they are a good deal considering you get two for the price (at this writing around $10), I do wish the blades were an inch longer. Also, they claim to have a "new ergonomic handle," but for me (male) the handle is not all that comfortable. If the openings were about a half inch longer, they would fit my hand/fingers much better. The slant on the inside edges does not fit my hand very well either...in other words, they could be designed a bit better in this area. If you have small(er) hands though, this may not be a problem for you. If I had to do a lot of cutting (school projects come to mind here), I think they would start to get uncomfortable after a while.
On the plus side, they do offer a lifetime warranty. Although the company is based in Fairfield, CT, the scissors are made in China. This may or may not make a difference to you, but thought I would point it out nevertheless.
Overall, I do recommend them for the price.
Lastly, if you do decide to vote down my review for whatever reason, I would appreciate a short note as to why as a comment. I do try to be objective and thorough when I post a review, and any feedback would be helpful.
