I still don't understand how scissors and differ depending on your dominant hand. Being right-handed, I had no idea that was even a thing.

These will go through airport security. I always need scissors to open "something" or snip a thread. They have rounded, safe ends....will not poke through clothing or baggies. They are great for opening small drink and food packages (like little mayo, ketchup, water packets) that are sometimes impossible (for me with arthritic hands) to open from those little annoying "slits" (even if you can find them!). They are small, lightweight, safe, and colorful so you can find them in your purse, bag, or whatever. If you lose or forget them, no big deal.
