The Westminster Confession of Faith
John Calvin knew that if the biblical truths rediscovered at the Reformation were to spread throughout the world, they would have to be presented in a form that ordinary people could understand. So, during the winter of 1536-37, the 29-year old Calvin wrote, in French, his Brief Outline of the Christian Faith. This is Calvin’s striking but concise attempt to define the Christian Faith for ordinary people! Here you have the very core of Protestant belief and feel the warmth of its ardent love for God and men. (From the preface by Stuart Olyott).
‘This book is a little gem!…It would be hard to find a clearer summary of the faith in so short a compass, and perhaps impossible to find one so warm…Well worth the read!’ —Evangelicals Now.

This copy is quite handy, with thick, almost card stock pages, and an imitation leather cover. The imitation leather is the same material called TruTone or DuoTone by different publishers, and has a suede-like feel. I have a Bible covered in the same which has held up quite well for about ten years, so I'm not worried about longevity. The size of this book is on the small side, the same thickness, but just a little wider and a little shorter than the average smartphone, but with decent sized print.
This would be perfect if it also included the Shorter catechism as well, but as it stands is a lovely little volume.
Many of the men who created this suffered terribly to defend the Bible and Protestant faith. We have it easy today and still fear preaching the truth as God intends.

As the description states, pocket size, but easy to read.
