Single-Support Manual Jerky Slicer

Turn your favorite cuts of meat into perfect jerky strips using our Manual Jerky Slicer. Prepare jerky meat for drying in an oven, dehydrating or smoking. The 32 stainless steel blades cut up to 15 slices that are 3/8" thick. Easily feed your meat into the 4.5" x 1.25" opening and turn the handle. You can also cut meats for fajitas, steak strips or other family favorite recipes. Stainless steel tongs are included for safe and easy handling of the meat.

So fast this thing has worked pretty great, very easy to pull apart and clean. Tenderizes perfect. I even roll it through and extra time just cus it's fun lol. Blades and components are very durable. I bought a 10 pound chunk of meat from sam's club that we normally just use for stew meat, chili or beef tips. But now we can also use that cheep meat for chicken fried steaks that can be cut with a fork! Super happy we were finally able to afford this thing. I had it on my wish list for about a year and caught it on sale for under a hundred bucks. It had been listed for over$150.00 for a long time. Great investment so far. I cut meat into approximately 4" wide x 4-8" long shot a 1/4"-1/2" thick and run them through 3-4 times depending on how much gristle the meat has. Big package of meat takes about 15 mins, cutting meat into appropriate size takes longer than the actual cubing. Again great buy!

Any meat I fed into it doesn't come out through the bottom and just gets stuck in the blades and it's far too dangerous to scrape the butchered meat out of the blades. Wasted 3lbs of beef trying different methods and each turned out the same. I contacted their customer service and they said it could have been a "molding" issue with the steel, but they weren't willing to send a replacement part on their dime. Save your money and buy a more reliable product and not this overpriced scrap.

I paid an extra $15 to get the weston brand but after it got here and I didn't see the tenderizer blade I looked in the manual and for that extra $15 you do NOT get the second set of blades like you do with the competitions product that is $15 cheaper and comes with 2 sets of blades not just one.
The tenderizer blades is $37 on amazon so that makes this slicer $152 to get what you can get for $99.
It does slice very well I am just really disappointed that for the extra money I actually got less.
My slicer was missing the top clamp rubber piece that protects the table.

I purchased the Weston Manual Heavy Duty Meat Cuber Tenderizer because I was tired of paying the extra price for cube steaks, plus, I was definitely tired of trying to tenderize the meat by hand.. These blades are SHARP, and make a quick job of tenderizing the meat. Since purchasing, I have run boneless-skinless chicken breast through it to make Chicken Cordon Bleu. WOW! It cuts the preparation time in half and is so tender. I have also used it to cube cheaper cuts of beef for Chicken Fried Steaks, and boneless Pork Chops to stuff and bread. So Tender! The instructions say you can wash the blades in the dishwasher, but, I wash mine by hand and let them thoroughly dry on a drain board before storing them.

I ran both meats through once, turned them and back through again. Made perfect chicken fried steak for dinner last night. Tonight will be making schnitzel with the pork. It is very heavy and well made and very easy to use and clean. It attaches to the table very easy and does not wable or shimmy loose. I am very happy with this purchase and am only sorry that I didn't get one years ago. PS. Amazon prime had it here in only one day, not two. Great place to shop.

On review: A couple of weeks and a few uses later....it still works okay, but....the gizmo on top that you slide the meat through? It VERY QUICKLY became unstable. There are two screws that hold it the the head of the machine and they very quickly (and easily!) became loose. On removal of these two screws it was very apparent that they had stripped badly!! Now, I know that this thing is probably there for safety sake, but unless I can figure out how to use different screws, it is going to remain off the machine. The idea is fine, but the application? Well that sucks! The attachment of this 'chute' is obviously unsuitable to the purpose. Weston really needs to look at this from at least a safety outlook. What's the point of having a 'safety chute' if the thing won't stay on properly?? C'mon Weston, you can do better than that!!

YES! We definitely would buy this again....if it were necessary, which it probably won't be. We were able to put pork slabs through it that were easily two inches thick !! Yes, it took a bit of a push with the tongs, but once the blades caught, the 'pull' worked way better than the 'push' ! Second time through was even easier and once more did the trick completely. VERY pleased!!
