My husband and I bought this crib for our first grandchild. And my how cribs have changed over the years!! While it doesn't have the old fashioned drop side, it is very easy to get him in and out of the bed. The style of the crib is very appealling. He will be able to use the crib for a very long time, as it is convertible (imagine that!). We were very satisfied with this purchase, so was his mom and dad. We have also purchased the changing dresser to match the crib, and it is made of the very same high quality craftmanship. We will also be ordering the chest of drawers that matches this set. Also assembling the crib was very easy.

This furniture is so lovely. We shopped EVERYWHERE; looking for baby furniture. We looked at all the big baby stores, discount stores, upscale department stores, PB, restoration hardware, etc. We saw this furniture at a baby boutique and just loved it! It is sturdy and well built. The crib is very easy to put together. The workmanship is very impressive. All the furniture arrived in less than a week. And we saved $550 getting it through Amazon;(buying the crib/conversion, dresser & dressing combo!) compared to buying it at the boutique. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars (it really deserves 4 1/2) is because they forgot to give us one piece of hardware and there was 2 tiny scratches on the dresser. Overall we are just pleased! We can't wait for our little bambino to use it.Westwood Design Cypress Point 6 Drawer Chest - Honey PineWestwood Design Cypress Point Convertible Crib with Guard Rail - Honey Pine

We looked everywhere for furniture, had a pretty high budget and were not able to find anything that was not dark wood, made well and we liked. Our choices came down to this set and a set by Young America which was much higher priced and had less pieces for options. We took a huge risk by purchasing this set because we couldn't find it anywhere local on display, not even a wood sample and I am so glad that we took the risk. This set is gorgeous and is made very well. We purchased the crib, nightstand, dresser, hutch, armoire, bed rails and chest. The wood does scratch easy because it is pine so be careful but unfortunately, almost all furniture is made of pine nowadays. Definitely a great find and best bang for the buck. We hope our child will love it as much as we do. We did have 2 pieces come in damaged but they were quickly replaced.

This piece is beautiful. We bought the dresser, armoire and crib and they look gorgeous together in the baby's room. The BEST part though? It was delivered in under a week!
One issue that isn't that big a deal: The armoire didn't come with the feet it was supposed to have,(packing problem at the manufacturer?) but a quick call to Westwood and it was delivered FedEx to my house within a week.
Wonderful all around!

We bought this crib for our adopted child, then the adoption failed. We were blessed with pregnancy of our first child in 2011, now we are blessed again with our second child and looking to get the same crib, as we have to use the same room since we only have a two bedroom home.
This is a wonderful crib/toddler/bed.
