Works as advertised. I have a lot of very fine hair that has a curl to it at the nape of my neck, but is otherwise barely wavy. Therefore, I usually have nothing but tangles. I am impressed with how well this works. I've NEVER been able to brush my hair while it was wet and with this, I can. But I still only use it mostly for dry brushing. My daughter has similar hair that tangles easily. A lot less whining goes on when I use this brush.
I will say, though that the bristles are very fine and delicate. If you want to carry it in your purse, you may want to store it in it's box. The bristles crush easily and although I've been able to bend them back into place and have not seen any lessening of it's effectiveness, it looked kinda smushed! Do not use with heat, either. But if you're looking for detangling, this is da bomb.

I will never buy a different hair brush ever again! I absolutely love the Wet Brush! I bought this one to replace the one my dog chewed up. My hair has a tendency to knot easily and unlike other brushes this one doesn't make it painful to brush out! Sometimes the bristles do bend and it feels like it's not brushing correctly, but it's better than ripping your hair out of your head. I really love the Aztec design of this brush but wish the print actually covered the entire brush (sides are just white). I also don't feel very confident that the design won't fade away. The other one I had prior was a Wet Brush Pro, overall that one seemed to be of higher quality and the handle of the brush was nicer (not as wide) with a better feel in your hand. This is still a great brush but I'm definitely going to be purchasing another but this time the Pro one.
