I've come to expect Chance's way of words to get me all hot and bothered and to also get emotionally invested in the main and supporting characters. He more than exceeded my expectations with this story! I highly, highly recommend this book. Get WET!
I remembered the video Meadow received in this book, which happened in Bad Boy Daddy (one of Chance’s previous books), I loved reading about how The Brotherhood had helped her finally leave Matt. It was still funny reading what happened again after reading it that first time.
A great read that I quite enjoyed
As you read their stories you get caught up in how their love develops , overcoming their obstacles and they both become whole again. Great job Chance.
However, the biggest issue I have is that Meadow meets her husband and doesn't even recognise him. WTF? Even Kane knew who he was (and I'm not sure how, I don't recall him ever seeing a picture or anything.
Also, at one stage the wrong character's name was used, which made the story rather confused until I realised it was an error.
And I really could've done without the diary entries. I skimmed them all and found them uninteresting.
If you're looking for a quick read that could be hot if it's your style (read the sample first, that'll give you an indication), this isn't a bad choice (providing you can switch off/don't have an inner editor). And for the price, you could do worse. You could also do better, but if you're not too picky this could be just the thing to give you a little distraction for a while.
The story has just the right amount of drama and dirty that the reader is engaged and before you realize it you have been reading for 2 hours. This book is well written and has a great pace for the action of the story. This is a good read.
