3.5 star read for me.

Positives:
- Jake is a lot more settled in this book then the first. A lot calmer, not as screwed up and a lot more mature.
- Supporting characters are entertaining and add to the story.
- The love between Tru and Jake is still as strong and hot as ever. There are a lot of sex scenes in this one... a lot!
- The last 25% of the book is where (for me) the plot actually started and I actually felt in sync with the characters once more.

Not-so-positive
- The heroine - Tru- IF I ever had to write Tru a letter it would probably contain the following:

oh dear... lord give me strength. Oh how I wish you were real Tru so that I could hit you over the head with my Kindle, maybe then it would rattle some of that backbone and or intelligence loose so that you would stop being so wishy washy and annoying.

Yes, I know that the love of your life is a reformed drug addicted manwhore of a rockstar, and yes, I know that he has a shopping list of conquests. But Tru, FFS tru! Either mark your goddamned territory so those floozies know who's boss, or stop being angry everytime your reformed (hawt) manhoe talks to a pretty girl. Reading through lines and lines of you internalising your insecurity and jealousness is BORING, especially when you do this soooo often, I'd rather be watching a snail race through a line of salt. And please, please, please... stop with the unnecessary dramatics. Your first reaction to your man taking off after you dropped a bombshell on him shoudln't be "fly back home to England", especially when you prophess to love each other so darned much.

Anyone left hanging from The Mighty Storm?... rest assured because this one will complete any questions and wonders you had from the ending of the first book.
I like that even though there are angst moments, in the end it will be solved by the two of them. I appreciate that in a book, instead of seeing the characters being so dramatic and turning things worst, but this time Jake and Tru are being mature to handle things well to keep their relationship with trust.
Everything in this book will both make you squirming and relaxing. The hot steamy and kinky sex are always there but there are also moments that will make you melting with so much love and forgiveness. Trust issues will always be in the picture but being honest with their feelings make the most out of all their issues. It wasn't always happy between them but it's not angst either, it's all balance and I love every moment of it! This book still made me surprised with the happenings, I thought it was all sweet moments but Ms. Samantha still enter scenes that will make you unable to put down the book (or your e-reader).
For me the book was all about Jake Wethers! He's everything in this book~ The promises he made, things he did for Tru, the struggles, the pain, the unforgettable moments, the past, everything was made because of Jake! And I'm so freaking love this guy every pages I turned! I'm so freaking swooned because of him and I love that he made me feel like this reading through his and Tru's journey.
I still have mixed feelings now that it's finished. Their story is on my all time favorites and this book made it even more legit to be on that list! This couple finally had a special part of my heart and their story will always be engraved in my mind! It's truly wonderful, simple yet memorable.

I literally got to the last chapter and couldn't finish it (which I have never done). This book was terrible compared to the first one. Every chapter was predictable and boring.

Tru was quite the annoying character. Her insecurity and issues with Jake's lifestyle made me hate her. As for the sex scenes, they started getting too unrealistic. I get it, we all have the crazy beginning stage in a relationship, but have sex multiple times a day every day...come on! And the descriptions were exactly the same for every scene. Just skip them.

Overall this is book is like so many others out there, but poorly written. I definitely will be asking for a refund. I don't mean to bash the author, but I really enjoyed the first one and this doesn't even compare.

I will not mix words Tru is annoying to the tenth power in this book. I hated her overreaction s to anything and everything. Jake should of just dropped her back on Will' s door step, and kept his behind in L.A.

The plot was predictable to me there were no surprises. I think the author should of told book two in Jake's point of view from THE MIGHTY STORM. That way this story would not have been tainted.

And I know it's a British term but the author could of pulled back on the term BLOODY.

My recommendation wait until there is a sale for .99 cents for this epic fail.

Fell in love with the mighty storm. Could not wait from the sequel. I preordered so. I would get it as soon as it came out. I highly recommend both books. I love the way the weathering the storm ended. It brought everything to a beautiful ending. Linda smith
